— A summer party ended tragically when a Kansas, Okla., boy allegedly raped and stabbed a teenage girl.

Keighton Budder, 16, of Kansas, Okla., faces charges of first-degree rape and assault and battery with a deadly weapon.

He will be charged as a youthful offender, said Capt. Ron Teel of Delaware County Sheriff's Office. The state's Youthful Offender Act allows for a blended sentence between criminal and juvenile court.

The 17-year-old alleged victim, whose name was not released, was reportedly stabbed about 20 times and raped Aug. 11, the probable cause affidavit shows.

A helicopter transported her to a Tulsa hospital, and she underwent surgery. She has been released from the hospital, Teel said.

The rape and stabbing allegedly occurred on East 540 Road, southeast of Colcord, Okla.

The alleged victim told police she had a party at her home before school started.

She invited a few friends, and some brought beer. The alleged victim's mother had purchased beer also, the affidavit shows.

Most people arrived at the party by 8:30 p.m. that night.

Budder and three others showed up at 10 p.m. with a 30-pack of beer.

They played a few games, including "beer pong," the affidavit shows.

Budder allegedly assaulted the victim after she drove home a few people who had attended the party. They had left at 3 a.m. in her mother's vehicle, the affidavit shows.

He was supposed to go with someone he arrived with at the party but decided to have the alleged victim take him to his aunt's house.

He started telling her where to drive, but then began stabbing her until the knife the broke.

He made her perform several sex acts, according to the affidavit.

The alleged victim said she was able to get away after he fell asleep in the back seat of the vehicle.

She ran to a neighbor's home 300 yards away, and the neighbor called 911.

Officers from Colcord Police Department and the sheriff's office responded to the scene.

Budder was "very aggressive and hostile" and appeared to be "very intoxicated," the affidavit shows.

Budder is being held at the David L. Moss Criminal Justice Center in Tulsa, Okla., on $200,000 bond, Teel said.
