A Siloam Springs woman was killed and a Gravette woman injured in a wreck on Arkansas Highway 59, just north of Gentry on Jan. 28.
According to a release from the Arkansas State Police, the accident occurred at 8:22 a.m. when Samantha Eggebrech, 26, of Gravette, was southbound in a 2009 Ford Focus and passinganother car.
Her car collided with a northbound 2003 Honda Civic driven by Ravenna Floyd, 55, of Siloam Springs.
Both were taken to Washington Regional Medical Center, Eggebrech by helicopter and Floyd by ground unit. Floyd was pronounced dead at the hospital.
Both were wearing seat belts at the time of the accident, according to the release.
