MYRON LEA ABRAMS, 66, of Little Rock, formerly of Winchester, died Sunday, Oct. 14, 2012. Born in Pine Bluff Aug. 18, 1946, he was a son of the late Myron Louis and Mildred Babette Gottlieb Abrams.

Mr. Abrams was owner and operator of Murphy’s Cash Store in Winchester for 40 years.

Survivors include his daughters, Babs Abrams Wardlaw (Jonathan) of Little Rock and Michelle Abrams Oliver (Loren) of Fayetteville; four grandchildren, Abe and Murphy Wardlaw, Leah Kate and William Oliver; and one brother, Joe Abrams (Beth) of Covington, La.

A memorial service will be held at the Jewish Cemetery in Pine Bluff Sunday, Nov. 4, 2012 at 2 p.m., directed by Ralph Robinson & Son.

MARZELLE McBRIDE BENDER of North Little Rock died peacefully in her sleep Oct. 26, 2012. She was born Aug. 10, 1925, the first child of the late Joe C. McBride and Hattie Fore McBride. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church of North Little Rock.

Marzelle was a dedicated volunteer in her community, serving as a member of the Arkansas Arts Center and the Fine Arts Club, the Salvation Army Women’s Auxiliary, the Arkansas Children’s Hospital Auxiliary, and the Junior League of North Little Rock, being named Sustainer of the Year in 1990.

Marzelle is survived by her husband of 63 years, Kurt Bender of the home; her son, Kurt Bender Jr. (Sue) of North Little Rock; daughters, Ann Butts (Greg) of Little Rock and Kay Jones (Bruce) of Ross, Calif.; brother, Bill McBride of Prescott; sister, Norma Robertson (JC) of Texarkana; granddaughters, Anna Gise (Max), Christina Butts, Allison Jones, Alex Jones, Daron Jones; great-grandson, Jack Gise, as well as several nieces and nephews and many friends.

Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m., Monday, Oct. 29, at Roller-Owens Funeral Home, 5509 John F. Kennedy Blvd. North Little Rock (501) 791-7400. KATHRYN SUE HARMON CLARK, 84, of North Little Rock passed away Thursday, Oct. 25, 2012. She was born in Perryville, Ark., to the late Percy Ogden and Nora Grace Brown Harmon.

Kathryn was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Henry Franklin Clark.

She retired after numerous years as an underwriter in the insurance field. She was devoted to her husband, brother, nieces and nephews.

She is survived by her brother, Percy Harmon (Calvina) of Perryville; nieces and nephew, Lynn Nalley (Fred) of Cabot, Betty Quisenberry (Ron) of Georgia, Becky Harmon of Roland and Chris Harmon (Veronica) of Perryville.

JB COLLIE, 87, of Sherwood passed away Friday, Oct. 26, 2012. He was a member of Harmony Baptist Church and retired from North Little Rock School District.

He is survived by seven sons, Marvin Collie (Deanna), Tom Collie, Dallas Collie, Jerry Collie ( Connie), Jack Collie (Donna), Mike Collie and Adam Collie (De); 22 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; two great-greatgrandchildren; and his brother, Alfred Collie. He was preceded indeath by the wife and mother of his children, Elsie Mae Collie and second wife, Coy Collie; daughter, Shirley Ann Collie Moore; son, Jimmy Wayne Collie and five siblings.

HELEN BLEIBLER HETHERINGTON, age 94, died peacefully onOct. 17, 2012 in Little Rock, Ark. She was born July 3, 1918 in Dallas, Texas, where she lived until 1998 when she moved to Little Rock. She was a graduate of Hockaday Junior College, Dallas, Texasand Barnard College, New York, N.Y. For 30 years, she taught science at The Hockaday School. She was a devoted student of art and nature. She was an active deacon and elder at St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church in Dallas, and later a member of Westover Hills Presbyterian Church, Little Rock where she taught Bible studies. She was a leader in the programming of the Shepherd Centers in both cities.

Mrs. Hetherington and her late husband Charles S. Hetherington are remembered with love and admiration by their daughters and sons-in-law, Ann H. Prassel (Frank Prassel), Ethel H. Perina (Rudolf Perina) Charlotte Hetherington (Michael Barlow), and Jane H. Brown (Paul Brown) and six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

A memorial service in Little Rock will be held at Westover Hills Presbyterian Church on Saturday, Nov. 3 at 11 a.m., 6400 Richard B. Hardie Dr., Little Rock. UNA KELLAR, 89, of Little Rockand formerly of Conway went to be with her Lord Oct. 25, 2012. Una was born on Dec. 16, 1922 to William Cecil and Nina (Mc-Millan) Ethridge at Greenbrier. Ms. Kellar was a member of theNorthside Church of Christ.

She is survived by her daughters, Sandra (William) Schwall of Little Rock and Ginger Kellar-Montgomery of Little Rock; grandchildren, Kristen (Charles) Hoyt of Cedar Park, Texas, Michael Kellar-Gebhardt of Cabot, Laura Ann ( Richard) Caldwell of Perryville, Billy (Janet) Schwall of Fisher, Ind., Walter Schwall of Kyle, Texas, Christopher Mark Doyle of Little Rock, as well as numerous great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild; a sister Jean Wilson of Conway and a brother Tommy (Jo) Ethridge of Altus. JO ANNETTE WOLFF LAWRENCE, who passed away on Friday, Oct. 26, 2012, was born Aug. 20, 1930, in Hugo, Okla., the second child of Jo Wilhemina Wolff and Joseph A. Wolff. After graduation from Hugo High School, she attended Stephens College, and in the fall of 1949 transferred to the University of Arkansas where she pledged Tri Delta. In September of 1950, Ann met John Lawrence, became pinned to him after five dates, and engaged to him in November of 1950. Ann married John in 1950 following his decision to serve his country in the Korean War. They resided at St. Belvior, Va., until John was deployed to Korea in December of 1951. After their first son, John Jr., was born April 21, 1952, John returned from Korea and enrolled in the University of Arkansas where he graduated from the School of Engineering. Ann and John would continue their lives in the construction business, which first took them to Conway, Ark., where they gave birth to their second son, Michaelon April 7, 1955. They gave birth to their third child and only daughter in Little Rock on Jan. 27, 1958. John and Ann lived in numerous places until they settled in Maumelle in 1987. John passed away in 1997.

Ann’s love of animals inspired her lifetime devotion to ensuring their protection and well-being. Her favorite pastime was playing bridge with her special group of friends. Ann was loved by many and will be greatly missed.

She is survived by her son, John Lawrence and wife June of Fayetteville; her son, Mike Lawrence of Maumelle; her daughter, Shaun Anderson and husband Wayne of Helena; her six grandchildren, John Lawrence III, David Lawrence, Casey Lawrence, Jessica Ayers, Charles Roscopf and Chris Anderson; and her five great-grandchildren.

The Lord welcomed ORLIE JEAN ANNETTE MORING into theglorious gates of Heaven Tuesday, Oct. 23, 2012. She was born May 28, 1940 in McClelland, Ark., to Ruth and Arlie Turner. She graduated from Carlisle High in 1960 and then went to work for Timexfor 55 years. She enjoyed playing cards and fishing.

Orlie Jean will be remembered as a wonderful mother, sister, daughter and friend.

She is survived by her two sons, Jimmy Dale Moring of North Little Rock and David (Rita) Moring of Conway; sister, Martha (John) Holyfield, of Hazen; three brothers, Harrel Turner, of DeValls Bluff, Oppie (Nancy) Turner of Bristolville, Ohio, and Perry (Virginia) Turner of Bloomfield, Ohio; several nieces, nephews and her great friend and caregiver, Renee Ray, of North Little Rock. On Oct. 26, 2012, BONNIE BIZET RICHTER departed this life for a better one. She was born Aug. 3 1947, in Shreveport, La., to Rose and Ray Bizet.

She is survived by a daughter, Gwendy Durham and son, Paul Richter; three grandchildren, Madison Durham, Owen Durham and Rosie Durham.

She was very active in activities revolving around her daughter, son and Madison until stricken with lingering health issues.

LOUIS J. SCHAUFELE JR. (LOUIE) passed away peacefully at hishome on Oct. 24, 2012. He was preceded in death by his parents, Caroline and Louis J. Schaufele Sr. and one greatgrandchild. He is survived by his high school sweetheart and loving wife, Carolyn Cosgrove Schaufele; his two sons, Mike Schaufele (Marty) of Little Rock and Lou Schaufele (Lee) of Dallas, Texas; his grandchildren, Janet Smith (Chip) of Kansas City, Mo., Ann Blair Schaufele of Little Rock, John Schaufele (Laura) of Houston, Texas, Paul Schaufele and Anne Evans (Cole) of Dallas Texas; and six great-grandchildren.

After graduating from the University of Arkansas where he was a four-year letterman in football and a three-year letterman in baseball, he received his draft notice from the Philadelphia Eagles and the U.S. Army the same day. He joined the Air Force and was stationed at Carswell Air Force Base. After the service he joined the Yankee organization before returning to Little Rock to begin his business career. He went to work for Dabbs Sullivan Investment Company. Two years later, he went to work for Worthen Bank, now Bank of America, for 35 years , becoming a Senior Vice-President before his retirement.

Louie was very active in his community, giving countless hours to projects such as the War Memorial Stadium Commission of which he was chairman for five years. He was instrumental in the revitalization of the stadium and in the keeping of two Razorback football games here in Little Rock. He also was chairman of the Little Rock Sewer Commission for 20 years. He was very active at Trinity Episcopal Cathedral where he taught Sunday school, was treasurer of the Endowment Committee and served on the vestry. He later joined Second Presbyterian Church where he remained active until his health started failing. He was elected to the Arkansas Sports Hall of Fame in 2006, the Razorbacks Hall of Honor in 2003, and to the Arkansas High School Coaches and Officials Hall of Fame.

One of Louie's passions was officiating football games, which he did for many years starting with junior high, high school, the AIC conference, and ending up in the Southwest Conference. He officiated such great teams as Texas, Stanford, Ohio State, Florida and Penn State. He was honored for his good works by officiating the Citrus Bowl, the Sun Bowl, four Sugar Bowls, the Blue Bonnet Bowl, the Holiday Bowl, the Aloha Bowl and the Orange Bowl. Two of those games were national championship games.

His athleticism was widely known around the state. He was named to the High School All American Team the first year he ever played as a senior at Little Rock Central High School. He played American Legion Baseball and his team came in second in the national championship. At that time, Babe Ruth was the official chairman of the tournament. His love of golf never wavered, even thoughhe never made that coveted holein-one. He did enjoy watching his wife make four of them.

Louie's personality was profound and his presence bigger than life itself. His love and generosity to family and friends was unmatched. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Services will be held today, Sunday, Oct. 28 at 2 p.m. at Second Presbyterian Church, 600 Pleasant Valley Drive, Little Rock, officiated by the Rev. Steve Hancock and the Rev. Karen Akin. A reception will follow the service in the Second Hall.

PATSY RUTH GARRETT SCRUGGS, born July 7, 1930, to Fredand Florence Garrett, died Oct. 26, 2012.

She was preceded in death by her husband Douglas Scruggs, parents and one sister Betty Garrett. Survivors are Judy (Fred) Cromwell, William (Gale) Scruggs, Calvin (Judy) Scruggs, James (Shelby) Scruggs, Ernest Scruggs, Joe (Sharon) Scruggs, Robert (Kris) Scruggs; step-son, Douglas (Linda) Scruggs; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and greatgreat grandchildren, nieces and nephews, and beloved Rhonda Clendening and Kristy Jane.

PAUL DEWEY SHARP of Little Rock, Ark. passed away suddenlyon Oct. 26, 2012.

Paul lived an amazing life during his 60 years. He was born May 11, 1952, to Charles "Ike" and Billie Guerin Sharp. He graduated from Douglas High School in Douglas, Ariz .,and later earned both bachelor's and master's degrees from Ouachita Baptist University (OBU). While at OBU, he was a 1971 Rho Sigma Initiate and 1975 Reserve Officers Training Corps (ROTC) graduate. On Jan. 6, 1979, he married Sherrie Lynn Brown of Little Rock, Ark., at Immanuel Baptist Church.

Paul was an extremely talented and capable person with diverse interests. He was a scholar athlete in college, excelling in both baseball and football. The son of an accomplished coach, Paul also chose coaching as a career. That career began at his beloved OBU where he served as Defensive Line Coach, then Offensive Line Coach from 1974-1978. In 1979, he became defensive coordinator at the University of Central Arkansas, servingin that capacity until 1982 when he accepted the same position at Lamar University in Beaumont, Texas. In 1986, Paul was hired by Southwestern Oklahoma State University (SWOSU) as head coach where he remained for 19 years.

Paul's tenure at SWOSU was very successful. There he led teams to two conference titles and one divisional crown with the 1992 team finishing ranked number one in the NAIA. That year, SWOSU made its first trip to the NAIA playoffs since 1977. In 1996, Paul led the Bulldogs to their first-ever football National Title. By 2003, he was named the school's most winning coach in school history. Paul was awarded National Coach of the Year in 1996 and was a member of the American Football Coaches Association, the Oklahoma Coaches Association and served as President of the NAIA Coaches' Association from 1993-1994. After retiring from coaching, Paul became an agent for Mutual of Omaha Insurance.

Paul was a patriot who loved America and was a constant student of history. He appreciated the contributions made by those who came before him, and he loved to travel to locations rich with historical significance, read books on historical events, and listen to stories from elderly persons and veterans. He was a loyal friend, beloved by many. He had a special knack for making each person seem special.

He particularly loved his family. He was a devoted son and brother, always willing to give. Paul was a wonderful, fun and loving husband of almost 34 years. He was particularly fond of family vacations and made each one special. He was preceded in death by his parents.He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Sherrie and his children Aaron (Tiffaney) Sharp of Benton and Adam (Julie) Sharp of Little Rock; his grandchildren, Hunter Sharp of Benton, and Aiden and Addison Sharp of Little Rock; his sister, Jane Sharp of Little Rock; his brother, David (Carrie) Sharp of Arkadelphia; nieces and nephews Jordan and Ashley Sharp of Arkadelphia and Claire and Baxter Woosley of Little Rock. Surviving in-laws include mother-in-law Joyce Brown, brothers-in-law David Brown and Steve Woosley and sister-in-law Debbie Woosley, all of Little Rock.

Paul loved his alma mater, his country, and his friends and family, but above all, Paul loved his Lord. He lived his life in an effort to glorify Christ and to lead others to Him. Paul was an active leader in each church he attended. As a member of Immanuel Baptist Church in Little Rock, Paul served as Chairman of the Deacons and taught weekly adult bible studies.His love of Ouachita Baptist University was an extension of his commitment to Christ. It was there that his father became a Christian, and throughout his life, Paul remained appreciative of the school's focus.

LAWRENCE ALLEN SHELTON, 74, of Little Rock passed away on Oct. 26.

He was born in Little Rock and joined the Army in 1955. After his retirement from the Army, in 1975, he enjoyed a diverse career that included civil service and several positions that allowed him to enjoy his expertise in electronics.

He is survived by his wife, Cynthia; children, Carol, Maria, Tina and Thomas; seven grandchildren and one great-grandson. He leaves behind his siblings, Mary, Katie, Lynnda, Robert, and Laura and their families, as well as the families of his brothers and sisters who preceded him, Katherine, Claude, Charles, Barbara, and William. He will also be missed by Nicholas and Jessica, for whom he provideda loving home, and a host of family and friends who played special roles in his life.

SIDNEY WARLICK WILSON, 84, of North Little Rock, Ark., passedaway Thursday morning, Oct. 25, 2012. Sid was born Dec. 2, 1927, the son of Sidney and Florence Wilson of Ponca City, Okla.

Sid graduated from St. Mary’s Catholic School in Ponca City, Okla .,attended Oklahoma State University, and in 1971 received his Master of Science degree in Criminal Justice from San Jose State University in California.

He worked a full and eventful career before retiring from AP&L (Entergy).

Sid served 20 years in the United States Army with the Criminal Investigation Division. He is a Vietnam veteran with 3 Legion of Merits, Bronze Star, Meritorious Service Medal, Army Commendation Medal, and numerous Service Medals. He also served as Chief of Police of the Norman, Okla., Police Department; Captain of Police for the Ponca City, Okla., Police Department, and briefly served in the United States Navy and the United States Marine Corps, Ponca City Fire Dept. and achieved the rank of Eagle Scout in the Boy Scouts of America.

He proudly belonged to the Kaw and Osage Nations.

Sid was very active in local issues close to his heart. Earning his pilot’s license in 1987, Sid became active in the Arkansas Civil Air Patrol and reached the rank of colonel as the organization’s Arkansas wing commander. His passionate drive to educate the children and people of Arkansas brought him to a seat on the board of the Arkansas Aerospace Education Center.

Sid was an active member of the Cathedral of St. Andrew in downtown Little Rock.

He was preceded in death by his father and mother; brother, Charles Wilson; sister, Patty Jean Wilson; first wife, Wilma Mae (Leche) Wilson, and son-in-law Dan Hewes.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 49 years, Rosemary Fritz Wilson; sons, Sidney W. Wilson (Ann) of Ponca City, Okla., Matthew D. Wilson of Little Rock, Ark., and Kevin A. Wilson (Jennifer) of Rogers, Ark.; daughters, Cheryl Ann Wilson of Albuquerque, N.M., and Tracy Kalytiak (Roman) of Palmer, Alaska. Sid’s love also extended to Gwen Kincaid and Scott Westerman as being part of this family.

He loved and adored his nine grandchildren: Sean Wilson, Shannon (Brian) Tighe, Rusty (Krystal) Wilson, Kaci Wilson, Reed Hewes, Bryant Hewes, Sidney A. Wilson, Audrey Wilson and Nina Kalytiak, and was blessed with six greatgrandchildren: Tyler Rhoads, Brennan Tighe, Abby Tighe, Shane Wilson, Phoenix and Journey Wilson.

He will be missed by his loving sister, Suzie Braden of Ponca City, Okla., and her children, and his sister-in-law, Peggy Wilson of Ponca City, Okla., and her children.

Sid had many other relatives and friends he cherished deeply, especially his good friend Jim Thomey, for whom he will be waiting at the 19th Hole in the Sky.

BENTON - Freddie “Mack” Ball, 76, of Benton passed to hisheavenly home on Friday, Oct. 26. Mack was born Sept. 24, 1936 in Saline County and was the son of Janice Ball and Benton Poe. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death byhis grandparents who raised him, Elzie and Maud Ball; his sisters, Merle Poe, Doris Burrows, Willie Glover, Marie Ball; brother, Lindsey Ball and a special uncle, Tazel Poe.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 56 years, Lois (Rhoads) Ball and son Ron Ball (Camille) and the light of his life, grandsons, Matthew and Casey. Also he was survived by his sister, Freda Tucker; brother, Erby Ball, and a hostof close relatives.

He retired after 46 years from Mack’s Dental Lab. He was member of the Army National Guard for 10 years. He was a die-hard fan of the Arkansas Razorbacks and enjoyed watching all the sporting events. Yet his greatest enjoyment came from watching his grandsons participate in athletics and grow up to be fine young men.

Pallbearers are Bobby Glover, Freddy Tucker, MC “Buck” Tucker, Eddie Poe, Dickie Poe, Donnie Burrows and Wayne Burrows. Honorary pallbearers are Gary Kettles, Bill Stubblefield, John Crouse, Marc Gross and Ernie France.

GREENBRIER - Winfred Donald Crank (Don) passed away Tuesday, Oct. 23, 2012. He was born at home on "The Hodge Place" in Stoddard County near Puxico, Mo. on April 11, 1932 to the late John Clifton and Luda Harty Crank. Hewas predeceased by his parents; two brothers, (John ((Jr)) Raymond and Jim ((Eldon)); and four sisters (Jeanette, Lorene, Betty, Shirley).

Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Robin and William Coleman and their children, Nathan, Aaron, and Claire of Redwood City, Calif.; a son, Christopher and his children Jordan and Jonathan of Greenbrier, Ark.; two brothers, Floyd of Rockford, Ill., and Robert (wife Reta) Crank of Poplar Bluff, Mo., and one sister, Carolyn (husband Gordon) Martin of Wentzville, Mo.

Mr. Crank's first eight years of public schooling were at Page School, a one-room rural school with eight grades. He attended Puxico High School (1945-1949) and graduated from Southeast Missouri State College at Cape Girardeau, Mo. in 1954 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Education with majors in business education and English. He taught school for one year at Mangrum School (also a oneroom school that housed grades one through eight) and later taughta semester at Puxico High School before entering the U. S. Army in 1954 and serving two years at Fort Chaffee, Ark.

Upon discharge from the army in 1956, he joined Metropolitan Life Insurance Company and worked 25 years in both sales and management. Upon retirement from Metropolitan Life, he became selfemployed within the insurance and financial service field.

He served as president of the Hot Springs Life Underwriters Association, secretary of the Arkansas State Life Underwriters Association, music and youth director of Oaklawn United Methodist church of Hot Springs, treasurer of the Hot Springs Music Club, president of the Arkansas Native Plant Society, He is a member of the Arkansas Native Plant Society and Missouri Native Plant Society.

A memorial service will be held in Anthony Chapel at Garvan Woodland Gardens, 550 Arkridge Road in Hot Springs, Ark., on Friday, Nov. 2, at 1 p.m. A visitation will be held at Blanchard FuneralHome in Sikeston, Mo., on Monday, Nov. 5, from 1 to 3 p.m. Graveside services will follow at 4 p.m. at Rock Hill Cemetery.

GRUBBS - Mr. Robert Williams of Grubbs, 87, died at St. Bernard's Hospital Oct. 25, 2012. He was born at Surrounded Hill Aug. 25, 1925 the son of the late Ross and Edna (Roussel) Williams.

He was a World War II Veteran serving the U. S. Navy as a 1st Class Petty Officer on the Aircraft Carrier "Belleau Wood" CVL-24 in the South Pacific. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Grubbs, a 32 degree Mason and past Master of Fidelity 703. He enjoyed farming, hunting, and visiting with friends and family. He liked to spend timeat his cabin on Greers Ferry Lake.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Betty Jean Allen Williams; one beloved son, Ross Allen Williams; a grandson, Jaxon Dunnam; two sisters and three brothers.

MALLETTOWN - Faber Earl Dunlap, age 80, of Mallettown,left his earthly life and entered eternity on Friday, Oct. 26, 2012. Faber was born on Sept. 22, 1932, in Mallettown, a son to the late John Murphy Dunlap and Annie Naomi Mallett Dunlap. Mr. Dunlap was an Army veteran of the Korean War, a self- employed farmer, truck driver and drove for Sugar Creek Foods.

Mr. Dunlap was a member of Mallettown Methodist Church. He attended the Springfield School and enjoyed working on tractors and trucks.

Faber is survived by his wife, Emily Stroud Dunlap of Mallettown; two sons, Troy Dunlap and wife Zaneta of Greenbrier, Michael Dunlap and wife Lisa of Mallettown; three daughters, Rita Birch and husband Robert Jr. of Morrilton, Mary Mallory and husband Don of Conway, Ricki Stanton Watson and husband David of Hickory, N.C.; three brothers, Wesley Dunlap of Mallettown, Pat and Lloyd Dunlap both of Memphis; seven grandchildren, Chad, Josh, Joe, Clint and Hope Dunlap, Christopher and Morgan Birch; three great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents; granddaughters, Jamie Stanton and Angela Dunlap; son-in-law, James Stanton; two sisters, Meb Stanton and Willie Kellar.

MORRILTON - Doylene Wells Ward, age 77, of Morrilton, passed away Friday, Oct. 26, 2012. She was born Jan. 31, 1935, in Wonderview, Ark., a daughter of Leon Wells and Pauline Houston Wells. She was the widow of Stanley Ward, owner of Doylene's Touch of Gold and member of Calvary Baptist Church.

SEARCY - Thelma "Punkin" Mason, age 84, of Searcy, died Friday, Oct. 26, 2012, in Little Rock. She was born Aug. 1, 1928, in Tuckerman, Ark., to Thomas Nathaniel Pennick and Viloa Greer Pennick. She was a member of Downtown Church of Christ since 1969. She worked many jobs and excelled at each of them.

STAR CITY - Benjamin Franklin "B.F" McGraw Jr., 97, of Star City died Wednesday in Star City. He was born July 6, 1915, in Star City to the late Benjamin Franklin and Katie Belle Eastham McGraw. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Star City, where he was a deacon for 47 years and was a retired farmer.

Besides his parents, Mr. Mc-Graw was preceded in death by four brothers, Grover McGraw, Frank McGraw, Sam McGraw and Vern McGraw and seven sisters, Hallie Steed, Mary Stephenson, LaVetra Armstrong, Thelma Silberstein, Hazel Lewis, Dorcas Farley and Vivian Bailey.

Survivors include his wife, Thelma Rickett McGraw of Star City, whom he married in 1942; three sons, Ben McGraw and wife Shelley of Burlingame, Calif., Rick McGraw and wife Nancy of Little Rock, and Johnny Mc-Graw and wife Nancy of Star City; one sister, Katie Jacks of Fort Smith; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

WARREN - Shirley Jane Broach Godwin, age 88, of Warren, Ark .,died Friday, Oct. 26, at Legacy Heights Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Russellville, Ark. She moved to Russellville in 2010.

She was born Aug. 19, 1924, in Warren, Ark. to the late RuthClyde Greenwood Broach and Harvey Broach. She was a retired employee of Potlatch Corp with many years of service and was a life-long member of First United Methodist Church. She was a member of several Warren bridge clubs, where she was joined by several life-long friends.

Shirley was a member of the Bradley County Hospital Auxiliary. She enjoyed reading, traveling and visiting her children and grandchildren. She also loved to shop and took several road trips with her many friends. She married Mitchell W. "Pete" Godwin on Aug. 26, 1944, at Warren, Ark., and he died Dec. 10, 1994.

Surviving is a daughter, Jackie Godwin Taylor and spouse Danny, Russellville, Ark; a son, Mitchell "Mike" Godwin and spouse Rosemary, Fort Worth, Texas; four grandchildren, Gina Hobbs, Kate Horton, Amanda Jumoville and Patrick Godwin; and five great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Clifford Councille and Perry Councille.

ROCKVILLE, Md. - Charles Henry Riggin Sr. died from complications of Alzheimer's disease in Rockville, Md., on October 18, 2012. He was the beloved husband of Mary (deceased) and the loving father of Mary and Charles Henry Riggin, Ph.D., Mary Adaline Lewis, Charles and Frances R. Province and Linda Copeland (decreased). He was also the grandfather of Eric Riggin, Denise Lewis Mouyaga, Rosa Copeland Bagwell and James Copeland and six greatgrandchildren.

Charles was a veteran of WWII, serving in the Pacific under the command of Gen MacArthur. Upon returning from the war, he moved his family to California, where he worked in a variety of jobs, including the town milkman.

JACKSON, Tenn. - Mrs. Marcia Jeanne (Tharalson) Morris, 89, of Jackson, Tenn., formerly of Newport died Wednesday, Oct. 24, 2012.She was born Jan. 21, 1923, in St. Paul, Minn., the daughter of Carl and Estelle (Garness) Tharalson.

As a small child, they moved to Tacoma, Wash., where she lived until her marriage to Mr. Charles "Chuck" Morris on Oct. 28, 1944. In 1949, she moved with her husband and daughter to Oklahoma and later to Newport, Ark.

In Newport, Mrs. Morris was a member of the St. Paul Episcopal Church. She was an avid reader and was active in the Newport Service League and the Newport Hospital Auxiliary.

Mrs. Morris was preceded in death by her husband, Charles "Chuck" Morris. She is survived by two daughters, Kathleen Shelton and husband John of Jackson, Tenn., and Marcia Thomas and husband Mark of Concord, Mass.; one sister-in-law, Emogene Morris of Newport, Ark.; three grandchildren, Jennifer Lawley and husband Jermey of Yigo, Guam, Rebecca Wilson and husband Eric of Denver, Colo., and Jennifer Thomas of Concord, Mass.; and three greatgrandchildren, Alex Lawley, Ben Lawley and Emogene Wilson.

SAN ANTONIO, Texas - Lucille "Lucy" Hall Selin was born in Herrin, Ill., on March 7, 1920, to Loren C. and Essie Hall, and died in San Antonio, Texas, on Oct. 20, 2012, at the age of 92. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Lt. Col. Frederick Paul Selin "Fritz,"and also by their son, Frederick P. Selin Jr., and her parents, Loren and Essie Hall. Lucy worked as a secretary for a cap and gown company in Champagne, Ill., and, as she always said, met and fell in love with her best friend, Fritz. With their life in the Air Force, they had many travels and assignments that filled their hearts with lots of friends and memories.

Lucy is survived by her brother, Bob E. Hall, and wife Coleen; and sister, Lavonne Hall Maguire, and husband John. She is also survived by her nieces and nephew, Susan Maguire Vitek and husband Eric, Robin Hall Guadagnini and husband Robert, and Robert A. "Teddy" Hall and wife Lavon.

The family would like to thank all of her friends that are too numerous to name, but include George and Sharan McCall, Jan Ward, Retired Pastor Mr. and Mrs. Keith Fox and her health-care helper Elana and the staff at the ARC for all the amazing care, love, support and even grocery-store trips, that helped Lucy to live a life she considered to be truly blessed.

Lucy is also survived by her sister-in-law, Margaret Selin; brother-in-law, Eric Selin; and various nieces and nephews. Hans Selin, brother-in-law, predeceased her.

She filled all of our hearts with love and laughter and quite a few successes on the golf course and will be missed. A memorial Service will be held at the House of Prayer Lutheran Church Nov. 2, 2012, at 11 a.m. with reception to follow.
