Students recognized

Siloam Springs Middle School recently announced the September students of the month and character award winners.

The seventh and eighth grade are each divided into two teams. An additional team contains both seventh and eighth grade students. Teachers select students from each team who have shown the traits of the month’s character word as well as a studentof the month who has been outstanding in all areas. September’s character word was Courage.

Following is a list of award recipients:

◊The seventh and eighth grade Patriot/ Champion team’s students of the month were Zayda Kingfisher and Seth Hufford. Character award recipients were Chance Hilburn and Elyse Perdue

◊The eighth grade Stars team’s students of the month were Erick Ritz and Cymber Henderson. Character award recipients were Abigail Bautista, Sydney Bomstad and Nathan Carter.

◊The eighth grade Pride team’s students of the month were KaileeThomason, Caleb Ellis, Ally Rushworth and Diego Flores. Character award recipients were Melanie Capehart, Jayzlee Bahr and Jose Trujillo.

◊The seventh grade Bears team’s students of the month were Chase Callahan and Brooke Hutto. Character award recipients were Oliver Reid, Kassidy Lane, Cassie Nelson, Abigail Smith, Bradlee Thomas and Lainey Samuels.

◊The seventh grade Titan team’s students of the month were Coleman Honea and Zeriah Largent. Character award recipients were David Walls, Matt Avery, Drew Smith, Lexi Elder, Omar Gonzales and Hayley Boyd.
