7th grade track wins home meet

The Siloam Springs seventh grade track teams each finished first Friday at the Panther Seventh Grade Relays held at Glenn W. Black Stadium.

In the boys meet, Siloam Springs scored 243 points to beat Decatur 183 and Gentry 148. In the girls meet, the Lady Panthers had 278 points, while Decatur and Gentry both had 47.

Panthers

In the boys shot put, Wyatt Washington finished second with a throw of 30 feet, 3 inches, while Dustin Ennis was eighth at 20-3 1/2.

In the discus, Washington finished first with a throw of 98 feet, 7 inches, while Ennis was fifth at 60-5.

Sonny Hankins won the triple jump with a distance of 32 feet, 7 inches, while Chase Callahan placed sixth at 25-1.

Hankins finished third in the long jump at 15 feet, 1 1/2 inches followed by Nathan Knabel in fourth at 14-6 and Diego Barillas in fifth at 13-9.

Hankins finished third in the high jump at 4 feet, 8 inches, while Ennis was fourth at 4-8, Luke Markovich seventh at 4-2 and Landon Cottrell eighth at 4-0.

Hankins took third place in the 110-meter hurdles with a time of 19.82 seconds followed by Ennis in seventh at 23.03.

Ryan Vasquez finished second in the 100-meter dash with a time of 13.55 seconds. Barillas was fourth at 13.61, followed by Lee Thompson in fifth at 13.86, Hankins in sixth at 14.05 and Knabel in seventh at 14.07.

Ethan Davis finished first in the 1,600-meter run with a time of 6 minutes, 3.11 seconds, while Callahan was second at 6:40.55, Samuel Granderson fourth 6:54, Markovich fifth 6:59, Kaiden Couffer sixth 7:07, Cottrell seventh 7:22, Austin Race eighth 8:06, Ethan Andrus 8:36 and Zachary Davis 8:49.

The boys 4x100 relay team finished first with a time of 54.97 seconds.

In the 400-meter dash, Vasquez finished first with a time of 1:04.73, while Thompson was second at 1:05.14, Andrew Saferite fourth 1:07.17 and Barillas fifth at 1:11.23.

Callahan finished first in the 800-meter dash at 2:56.68, while Couffer was second at 2:59.01, Granderson fourth 3:00.41, Markovich fifth 3:12.48, Race sixth 3:25.93, and Andrus seventh 3:26.93.

Vasquez finished first in the 200-meter dash with a time of 28.17 seconds, followed by Thompson in third at 28.89, Knabel fourth 29.15, Barillas fifth 29.58, Smith seventh 35.99.

The 4x400 relay finished second with a time of 5:01.35. The 4x800 relay was first at 12:16.09.

Lady Panthers

In the high jump, Alexis Roach finished first with a jump of 4 feet, 2 inches.

Roach finished first in the long jump with a distance of 12 feet, 7 inches, while Chloe Price was second at 12-5, Maddy Lasater third at 11-1 and Symone Blain fifth at 10-5.

Roach took first place in the triple jump with a jump of 28 feet, 8 inches, while Price was second at 25-11.

McKenzie Blanchard finished first in the discus at 55-10, while Karla Garcia was second at 55-7 and America Mejia sixth at 46-2.

Garcia finished first in the shot put at 29 feet, 3 inches, while Mejia was second at 23-8 1/2 and Blanchard fifth at 21-0.

Roach took first place in the pole vault at 6 feet.

In the 100-meter hurdles, Kaitlyn Robinson took fourth place with a time of 22.63 seconds.

Roach was first in the 100-meter dash with a time of 14.10 seconds, while Lasater was second at 14.77, Price fourth 15.02, Morgan Blossom seventh 15.69, Susan Bishop 16.17.

Chloe McGooden took first in the 1,600-meter run with a time of 6 minutes, 32.24 seconds. Lily Slater was second at 7:14, Ashley McFadin third at 7:19, Vivian Schochler fourth 7:33 and Jamie Dye fifth 9:11.

In the 400-meter dash, Price won first place with a time of 1:10.21, while Lasater was third at 1:18.67, Blain fourth at 1:21.9 and Blossom fifth at 1:23.03.

Robinson finished second in the 300-meter hurdles with a time of 1:16.71.

Bishop finished first in the 800-meter dash with a time of 3:28.42. Blanchard was second at 3:34.99, Ratliff third at 4:07.98 and Dye fourth at 4:10.82.

Lasater finished first in the 200-meter dash at 32.32, while Blain was second at 35.33 and Bishop third at 38.46.

The 4x100 relay took first with a time of 1:00.33.

The 4x400 relay took first with a time of 5:12.86.

The 4x800 relay finished first with a time of 12:30.17.
