Panthers finish 9th at Bulldog Relays

FAYETTEVILLE -- The Siloam Springs boys and girls track teams participated in the Fayetteville Bulldog Relays on Friday of last week at Ramay Junior High School.

Both teams will participate Thursday in the annual Panther Relays at Glenn W. Black Stadium.

Panthers

The Panthers finished ninth overall with 25 points. Bentonville won the meet with 157 points.

Highlighting the meet for Siloam Springs was the second place finish of Blaine Crouse in the shot put.

Crouse had a personal record throw of 49 feet, 1 1/2 inches, which earned him second place and eight points for the Panthers. Cody Washington placed 11th in the shot put with a throw of 39-9.5.

Zach Davis finished fifth in the long jump with a distance of 20 feet, 4.5 inches, scoring four points. Matt Downing finished 22nd at 17-5.

Parker Baldwin placed fifth in the 200-meter dash and scored four points with a time of 23.34. Scarbrough placed 25th with a time of 26.27.

Kyler Duncan placed sixth in the discus with a throw of 114-5, scoring three points. Kris Green had a throw of 105-9 to finish 11th, while Chris Lampton was 12th with a throw of 105-6.

Baldwin finished seventh with a time of 11.36, scoring two points. Drew McWhorter placed 30th with a time of 12.61 seconds.

The team of Davis, Jose Calderon, Downing and Baldwin placed seventh in the 4x100-meter relay with a time of 46.66 seconds and scored two points.

The team of Jacob Rodgers, Gavin Efurd, Porter Lasater and Calderon finished eighth in the 4x800-meter relay with a time of 9 minutes, 12.29 seconds and scored one point.

The team of Davis, McWhorter, Scarbrough and Calderon placed eighth in the 4x400-meter relay with a time of 3:48.43 and scored one point.

Davis finished 19th in the triple jump with a distance of 37 feet, 7.5 inches.

Elliott Pearson placed 16th in the 1,600-meter run with a time of 5 minutes, 1.26 seconds. Jacob Rogers placed 22nd with a time of 5:18.49, while Conner Humphrey was 30th at 5:35.90.

Calderon placed 16th in the 400-meter dash with a time of 56.17. Nathan Scarbrough placed 20th with a mark of 56.69,

Rodgers placed 20th in the 300-meter hurdles with a time of 48.56. Rickey Hughes placed 25th with a time of 53.65.

David Cisneros placed 28th in the 800-meter run with a time of 2:26.32.

Pearson finished 10th in the 3,200-meter run with a time of 10:44.04.

Lady Panthers

Siloam Springs finished 12th with nine points. Bentonville won the meet with 210 points.

The team of Taylor Gay, Alexis Duffy, Rebekah Hill and Ashlin Stock finished fourth in the 4x400-meter relay with a time of 4 minutes, 28.10 seconds and earned five points.

Gay finished seventh in the pole vault with a vault of 9 feet. She earned two points.

Autumn Casey finished eighth in the long jump with a leap of 15 feet, 2 inches, scoring one point. Stock jumped 15-1 and finished ninth, just missing a scoring spot.

Hill placed eighth in the 300-meter hurdles with a time of 56.23, scoring one point. Faith Bomstad placed 15th with a time of 59.51.

Haley Stewart finished ninth in the shot put with a throw of 30 feet, 7 inches and just missed scoring.

Stewart finished 11th in the discus with a throw of 83 feet.

Ali Eldridge finished 11th in the 100-meter dash with a time of 13.79 seconds. Stock finished 18th with a time of 14.05, while Casey was 24th at 14.38.

Duffy finished 11th in the 1,600-meter run with a time of 5 minutes, 49.51 seconds. Bethani Rogers finished 24th with a time of 7:14.58.

Matti Fuller placed ninth in the 800-meter run with a time of 2 minutes, 36.94 seconds, just one spot away from scoring.

Krysten Hall placed 13th in the 200-meter dash with a time of 29.91 seconds. Eldridge was 15th at 29.98, while Madison Brassfield was 28th at 33.51.
