Colcord Schools recently launched a free mobile app that will help the entire school community stay connected.
The app is provided by SchoolWay, which provides communication services to school districts through Apple and Android apps distributed by Jostens at no cost to districts or users.
It will allow Faculty and staff to send out real-time notifications and email messages to help busy students and parents keep track of information.
The mobile app will give users access to information such as school activities, grade books, notes from teachers, athletic schedules and scores, lunch menus, and school calendars.
"Colcord Schools' official mobile app empowers anyone in the community to stay connected with the information they want and need right on their mobile devices," said Colcord Superintendent Bud Simmons. "The release of this app for the school is an example of our commitment to provide our community members all of the district's information conveniently and easily, while making it more accessible than ever. We are excited about how our school's app will lead to a stronger, more connected school community."
The SchoolWay mobile app is a simple, secure and reliable way to send protected one-way mobile and web messaging to Colcord students and homes through SMS/text and email applications. The secure and flexible communication platform allows the school to easily manage, control and deliver content that enhances the school-to-community communications process.
