John Brown University athletics will host its "First Game Under the Lights" at 7:30 p.m. on Friday when the Golden Eagles men's soccer team hosts William Woods University.
The game will be played at Alumni Field, which recently had lights installed so that night games could be played. In previous years, games had to be played in the afternoons without the use of lights.
A number of events are planned for the evening.
Admission is free and free T-shirts will be given to the first 500 fans in line.
Jack Frosting mini-cupcakes and Pure Joy Ice Cream will be available for free while supplies last. Sweet Stir will be selling coffee. JBU will have a concession stand available.
Spirit scarves will also be available for purchase.
There will be an inflatable obstacle course for kids 12-and-under.
Immediately following the national anthem, there will be a 300-balloon lift in celebration of the night.
