A statue of Popeye the Sailor Man now stands in front of Sager Creek Vegetable Company greeting people passing by. Company employees gathered around the newly restored statue after it was placed in front of the company's headquarters, at 305 E. Main Street, on Wednesday. The statue once stood in front of a the company's production plant in Springdale. It was recently restored by Lightning Bolt Advertising. Popeye Spinach is one of the brands sold by Sager Creek Vegetable Company.
