Cincinnati received one of the state's largest grants through the rural community grant program. The town received $15,000 to fund a dual-use steel building as a rural fire department and a community building, said Rep. Mike Kenney, R-Siloam Springs.

The grant was part of the $166,147 Gov. Mike Huckabee presented to 28 rural communities selected for Fiscal Year 2004 Cycle I funding through the program.

The Arkansas Rural Community Grant Program awards were presented during a ceremony in the Governor's Reception Room of the Arkansas State Capitol.
