Rebeca Acencio

Rebeca Acencio, 30, of Siloam Springs, Ark., died July 15, 2014, at Siloam Springs Regional Hospital. She was born July 14, 1984, in Los Angeles, Calif., to Robert Machuca and Rosa Rodriguez.

She married Edwin Mendez on April 12, 2014, in Siloam Springs. She worked for several years for Simmons Foods. She loved spending time with her children and she liked dolphins and lilies.

She was preceded in death by one mother, Rosa Rodriquez.

She is survived by two fathers, Robert Machucha and Jose Martinez Sr., both of Siloam Springs; one mother, Milagro Diaz, of Siloam Springs; her husband; four children of the home, Isaiah Martinez, Joshua Martinez, Jeremiah Mendez and Rebeca Mendez; three brothers, David Acencio of Oklahoma, Kevin Martinez of Siloam Springs and Jose Martinez Jr. of Siloam Springs; and two sisters, Sandra Acencio of Oklahoma and Rosa Martinez of Siloam Springs.

The funeral was held July 19, 2014, at Backstrom-Pyeatte Chapel in Siloam Springs with pastor David Garcia officiating. She was buried at Oak Hill Cemetery.

Luke Allen Coody

Luke Allen Coody, 30, of Bentonville, Ark., died July 14, 2014, at Mercy Medical Center in Rogers, Ark. He was born March 12, 1984, in Topeka, Kan., to James Paul Coody and Rebecca Ann Lowery Coody.

He graduated from Northwest Arkansas Community College in Bentonville with an Associate of Applied Sciences. He enjoyed playing sports and working out. He attended Sonora Baptist Church. He worked as a server at Fish City Grill.

He is survived by his parents, James and Rebecca Coody of Siloam Springs, Ark.; five brothers, Joseph Coody of Siloam Springs, Joshua Coody of Fayetteville, Ark., James Coody of Siloam Springs, Jon Coody of Siloam Springs, and Mark Coody of Siloam Springs.

Memorial services were held Friday, July 18, 2014 at First Baptist Church in Siloam Springs with Steve Abbott officiating.

Pauline Spielman

Pauline Iva Spielman, age 76, of Yellville, Arkansas, passed away Tuesday, July 15, 2014, at Baxter Regional Medical Center in Mountain Home, Arkansas.

Pauline was born in Chico, California, on June 2, 1938, to the late Henry and Faunda Vera (Cook) Williams. She was formerly employed with a chicken hatchery. She had lived in the Yellville area for the past eight years, after moving from Siloam Srings. She attended Church on the Rock in Yellville, Arkansas. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister.

Mrs. Spielman is survived by her husband, Gerald of the home; a son, Henry Lester Johnson and his wife, Jan, of Forrest Ranch, California; a daughter, Mary Alice Sutterfield and her husband, Billy, of Yellville, Arkansas; a brother, James Craig, of Chico, California; a sister, Letha Craig of Magalia, California; seven grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.

A joint Celebration of Life for Mrs. Spielman will be held Thursday, July 24, 2014, at 6 p.m. at Church on the Rock in Yellville, Arkansas.

Sofia Grace Williams died on July 13, 2014, at Willow Creek Women's Hospital in Johnson, Ark.

She was born July 13, 2014, at Siloam Springs, Ark., to Justin Williams and Kathy Williams of Gentry, Ark.

She is survived by her parents; three brothers, Caden Brandon, Justin Williams Jr. and Mason Williams; one sister, Emily Williams; grandparents, Wendell and Gwen Morgan of Gentry; aunts, Stacy Rudd of Centerton, Ark., and Julie Brandon of Gentry; and four cousins.

Funeral services were Saturday, July 19, 2014, at Wasson Funeral Home in Siloam Springs with Pastor Dorothy Wall officiating. She was buried at Oak Hill Cemetery in Siloam Springs.

Sheridan Lee Wyre

Sheridan Lee Wyre, 44, of Springdale, Ark., died July 14, 2014, at his home.

He was born Oct. 20, 1969, in Bentonville, Ark., to Frank Oliver Wyre Sr. and Jo Evelyn Maxwell Wyre.

He lived most of his life in Northwest Arkansas and Colcord, Okla. He worked as a clerk at E-Z Mart and as a security officer for Centerion. He was a member of Colcord Missionary Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his father; one brother, Frank Oliver Wyre, Jr.; and his grandparents.

He is survived by his mother; one brother, John Roy Wyre and wife Stephanie of Springdale; his girlfriend, Vickie Pierce of Springdale; one stepson, Eugene Pierce of Springdale; an aunt, Norma Halderman of Manford, Okla.; two grandsons; and a niece.

Graveside memorial services were held July 19, 2014, at Row Cemetery in Colcord, Okla.
