The final draft of the Downtown and Connectivity Master Plan will be presented at two duplicate meetings on Thursday.
Victor Dover, principal of Dover, Kohl & Partners of Coral Gables, Fla., will present the final draft at 2 p.m. in the City Board Room and again at 7 p.m. in 28 Springs Banquet Room.
The plan will be a five- to seven-year map for the future of downtown Siloam Springs.
Three planning meetings have already been held, including an intense week of planning, called a charrette, during the week of March 31-April 4.
Work to develop the master plan is being paid for with $150,000 from public and private businesses and organizations.
On July 16, 2013, the city agreed to give $35,000 and to partner with Main Street Siloam Springs to develop the master plan. The Walton Family Foundation approved a $100,000 grant. Main Street Siloam Springs, Siloam Springs Chamber of Commerce, Bridges to Wellness, Simmons Foods, John Brown University and Siloam Springs Regional Hospital each pledged $15,000.
