9th grade teams win benefit games

The Siloam Springs ninth grade girls were defeated by Huntsville 46-34 in an Arkansas Activities Association benefit game on Saturday at Panther Activity Center.

The Lady Panthers trailed 24-11 at halftime.

Chloe Price led the Lady Panthers with 20 points.

Ninth grade boys

The ninth grade boys defeated Huntsville in a benefit game 33-26.

Marquan Sorrells led the Panthers with 15 points, while Spencer Lashley had five.

The Panthers trailed 14-12 at halftime but had pulled ahead 22-20 going into the third quarter.

Eighth grade girls

Huntsville defeated the eighth grade girls 30-28 in a regular season game.

The Lady Eagles led 18-12 at halftime but Siloam Springs rallied to take a 22-21 lead going into the final quarter.

Alexis Roach led Siloam Springs with 10 points.

Eighth grade boys

The Siloam Springs eighth grade boys defeated Huntsville 46-26 for their second win of the season.

The Panthers (2-0) led 15-4 after the first quarter and 30-12 at halftime.

L.T. Ellis led the Panthers with 11 points, while Murphy Perkins and Karson Clement each had nine. Matt Avery chipped in seven points for the Panthers.

Seventh grade boys

The seventh grade boys won their season opener 51-8 on Saturday against Huntsville. Ransom Van Asche led the Panthers with 12 points, while Drew Vachon had 11 and Gage Weaver 10.

Seventh grade

The seventh grade girls also won their season opener Saturday, defeating Huntsville 25-11.

The Lady Panthers led 6-0 after the first quarter and 11-2 at halftime. Huntsville closed within 15-11 going into the fourth quarter.

Morgan Winesburg led Siloam Springs with eight points, while Madison Pharr had five.
