Teachers of the year announced

Janelle Jessen/Herald-Leader Teachers of the year for the Siloam Springs School District were announced at Thursday’s school board meeting. Principals and school adopter presidents presented each teacher with a plaque and told why they were chosen for the honor. Pictured on the front row are Katie Bergthold, Northside Elementary School teacher of the year; Michele Jackson, Siloam Springs High School teacher of the year; Julie Stewart, Siloam Springs Intermediate School teacher of the year; Rebecca Evans, Southside Elementary School teacher of the year; and Jill Hartman, Allen Elementary School teacher of the year.
