Douglas, Turner nuptials announced

Angelena CaRee Douglas and Zachary Grant Turner of Fort Smith, Ark., and their parents, announce their engagement and approaching marriage. A May 2015 wedding is planned at DeGray Lake Resort in Bismark, Ark.

The bride-elect is the daughter of Gina and Greg Cox of Sallisaw, Okla., and Byron and Terri Douglas of Heber Springs, Ark. She is the granddaughter of Sue Jimerson of Sallisaw, Randy Spinks of Drasco, Ark., and Fred and Marie Douglas of Heber Springs, Ark.

She is a graduate of Vian High School, in Vian, Okla., and a 2014 graduate of the University of Arkansas Fort Smith, where she received a bachelor of science degree in nursing. She is currently employed at Mercy Hospital in Fort Smith.

The prospective groom is the son of Charlene Gadient, and Steve and Angel Turner, all of Siloam Springs, Ark. He is the grandson of the late David Gadient, Kathleen Diedrick, Charlene and Sam Green of Blueye, Mo., and the late Bobby and Nadine Turner of Decatur, Ark.

He is a graduate of Lincoln High School in Lincoln, Ark., and a 2014 graduate of the University of Arkansas Fort Smith, where he received a bachelor of science degree in nursing. He is currently employed at Mercy Hospital in Fort Smith.

The bride-elect will be given in marriage by her father, Byron Douglas, and stepfather, Greg Cox. Larissa Douglas, sister of the bride, will serve as maid of honor. Carlei Douglas, sister of the bride, and Jessica Harvey will serve as bridesmaids.

Lonnie Miller will serve as best man. Chance Parker and Alex Salto will serve as groomsmen. Kinlee Stone, cousin of the bride, will be the flower girl and Caiden Flesher, cousin of the bride, will serve as ring bearer.

The couple plans a honeymoon trip to Cancun, Mexico, before returning to their home in Fort Smith.
