ROGERS -- The Siloam Springs ninth-grade volleyball team lost its first match of the season Tuesday 2-1 against Rogers at Elmwood Middle School.
Rogers won the first set 25-16, followed by a 25-14 Siloam Springs win in set two. The Lady Mounties took the third and final set 15-13.
Annabelle Van Asche led the Lady Panthers (1-1) with three kills and two aces. McKenzie Blanchard and Alexis Roach each had two kills.
Siloam Springs won the eighth-grade game against Elmwood 25-19, 25-22. The eighth-graders improved to 1-1 on the season.
Up next
The Lady Panthers participated in the Springdale Spikefest on Saturday. They'll return home to face Harrison on Monday.
