7th-grade boys continue to roll

PEA RIDGE -- The Siloam Springs seventh-grade boys improved to 15-0 on Thursday after a 52-12 win at Pea Ridge.

"I was really pleased with our transitions during the game," said head coach Conlan Efurd. "We added a new look on defense and were able to move from one type of pressure to another with ease.

Drew Vachon led the Panthers with 11 points, while Braxton Bahr had eight, Ransom Van Asche and Ethan Barton each had seven, and Gage Weaver and Jordan Stewart each with six.

The junior varsity team defeated Pea Ridge 17-8, led by four points from Micah Ritz.

On Wednesday, the seventh-grade boys defeated Prairie Grove 53-14. Bahr led with 13 points, while Vachon had 11 points, Van Asche nine and Weaver and Thad Wright each scored six.

Siloam Springs won the JV game 28-5, led by seven points from Reed Wilbanks and six from Zach Haley.

The Siloam Springs seventh-grade girls defeated Prairie Grove on Wednesday in two games.

Maroon beat Prairie Grove 2 by a score of 7-2. Hannah Birkes led with four points.

Gray beat Prairie Grove 1 16-8. Brooklyn Shreve and Morgan Winesburg each scored four points to lead the Lady Panthers.
