Springdale George outscored the Siloam Springs ninth-grade boys 20-9 in the second and third quarters and the Wranglers defeated the Panthers 33-18 on Thursday at Panther Activity Center.
George led 7-5 after the first quarter but pulled ahead 14-7 at halftime after outscoring Siloam Springs 7-2 in the second quarter.
The Wranglers stretched their lead to 27-14 going into the fourth quarter.
Spencer Lashley led the Panthers (5-11) with 11 points, while Cervantes Martin had five.
The Siloam Springs eight-grade boys evened their record to 6-6 overall after beating George 40-23. Karson Clement led the Panthers with 10 points, while Matt Avery had eight and Micah Eldridge seven.

SPRINGDALE -- The Siloam Springs ninth-grade girls dropped to 9-8 overall after a road loss at Springdale George.
The Lady Panthers trailed 6-1 after the first quarter and 10-7 at halftime. Siloam Springs trailed 23-14 going into the fourth quarter.
Kirsten Williams and Hadlee Hollenback each scored six points for the Lady Panthers.
George won the eighth-grade game 45-25. McKenzie Blanchard led the Lady Panthers (2-10) with eight points.
