Every 'Hero' has a story

The Siloam Springs Public Library will start sign-ups for the 2015 Summer Reading Program on June 1. Summer Reading Programming will begin June 8. Every child (or parent/caretaker) with a library card may participate in reading this summer and will be eligible for free reading incentives.

Children ages 3 and above may register for the reading part of the Summer Reading Program. To sign up, a child, the child's parent or the child's caretaker must have a library card. Children who have read a minimum of three hours a week will be eligible to receive an incentive for that week. All programs will be open to the public regardless of signing up for the reading part of the program.

Have fun at our kick-off program from 11 a.m. to noon Tuesday, June 9. Act!vated Story Theatre will be back with their rendition of "Davy Crockett" and "Anansi Goes Fishing." Come help us make this event a big success!

• Mondays -- Movies at 2 p.m. Go to the library's section of the city's web page or contact the library for the list of movies.
