Community Thanksgiving program set for Sunday

The churches of Siloam Springs will come together for a community Thanksgiving program at 6:30 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 22.

The program, titled "Give Thanks," is sponsored by the Siloam Springs Ministerial Alliance and will be hosted by Community Christian Fellowship. Pat Callahan, pastor of CCF, described the event as an evening of prayer, worship and reflection for the community.

"This is a great opportunity for Christians from all over our community to gather together and remember the many blessings God has given us," Callahan said.

Musicians and vocalists from 10 to 12 local churches will be working together to create a worship team for the event, according to Callahan. The Sons of Otis Malone will also be performing during the event.

Pastors and speakers representing seven churches will be speaking as well, he said. This year's program doesn't have any overarching theme. Callahan said he encouraged each pastor follow God's leading on what to speak.

After the Thanksgiving program, refreshments will be served in the lobby.
