Siloam Springs Rainbow girls and adults were part of the Arkansas delegation attending the International Order of the Rainbow for Girls 46th Biennial Session, "Rainbow is a Rhapsody" international conference (Supreme Assembly), held July 31 through Aug. 5, 2016, in Providence, R.I.

They joined others from around the world to celebrate the organization, initiate new members and participate in individual competitions. Arkansas had an active role on the international stage as the Past Grand Worthy Advisor Elizabeth Reisbeck, from Siloam Springs, led the international members as Master of Ceremonies for the Grand Cross of Color Degree, an honorary body of those with exemplary service to Rainbow. Arkansas' own Grand Worthy Advisor, Bekah Trieschmann from Hot Springs carried the flag in opening ceremonies while the state leader of Arkansas Rainbow, Ellen Gigerich, was appointed Supreme Religion. Abby Rushin and Blair Lawhon both from Little Rock competed with their international sisters with Abby taking first and Blair taking second place in their respective individual divisions.

Siloam Springs Assembly #11 is very proud not only of these accomplishments, but watching young ladies learn and grow in leadership skills, public speaking, mentoring, memorization, confidence, patriotism, and service to others, all lifelong benefits that Rainbow teaches.

The International Order of the Rainbow for Girls, was started in 1922 by the Rev. W.
