The Siloam Springs seventh-grade boys improved to 2-1 on the season Thursday with a 26-12 win over Stilwell (Okla.) Maryetta at Panther Arena.
Josh Stewart led the Panthers with 17 points, while Carter Winesburg had four points, Hunter Talley three and Jedidiah Hunter two.
On Wednesday the Panthers lost 34-16 at Farmington. Farmington also won the fifth quarter 9-3.
Seventh-grade girls
The seventh-grade girls lost to Stilwell Maryetta 19-7 on Thursday. The Lady Panthers trailed 9-0 after the first quarter and 9-4 at halftime. Maryetta led 16-4 going into the fourth quarter.
Reina Tiefel led the Lady Panthers with five points, while Halle Hernandez had two.
On Wednesday, the Lady Panthers lost 30-7 at Farmington.
Up next
The seventh-grade teams participated in a jamboree on Saturday in Siloam Springs. Results were not available at presstime. Both teams return to action Wednesday against Gentry in their final game before the Christmas break.
