Fifth-grade champions

Siloam Springs Intermediate School recently had its Field Day with an Olympics theme. Each class chose a country to represent and competed in 12 events throughout the day. Carly Geanolous' class, which represented Ireland, won the fifth-grade championship. Each member of the class received medals and the class gets to keep a traveling trophy for the summer.
Heather Saylor's class earned the sportsmanship award for fifth grade.
Sixth-grade champions

Teresa Bollwine's class, which represented Brazil, won the sixth-grade championship. Each member of the class received medals and the class gets to keep a traveling trophy for the summer.
Rusty Perkins' class earned the sportsmanship award for sixth grade.
