Larry Dean Jones

Larry Dean Jones, 57, of Westville, Okla., died May 19, 2016 in Enid, Okla. He was born Oct. 17, 1958, in Wichita, Kan., to Luther and Donna Jones.

He married Linda Jones. He was a mechanic by trade and enjoyed hunting, fishing, watching action movies, and listening to country music.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and a grandson, C.J. Steimel.

He is survived by his wife of 22 years; two children, Stephanie Hagan of Rogers, Ark., and Elesha Egger and husband Daniel of Mena, Ark.; five grandchildren; three sisters, Debbie Springwater and husband Tommy of Stilwell, Okla., Vickie Young and husband Tim of Westville, and Pam Guinn and husband Leo of Westville; and two brothers, Jimmy Jones and wife Pamela Jones of Westville, and Charles Jones of Westville.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, June 3, 2016, at First Assembly of God West Siloam Springs in West Siloam Springs, Okla., with Terry Scott Sr., officiating.

Alma Lou Kidney

Alma Lou Kidney, 84, of Westville, Okla., died May 25, 2016, at Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville, Ark. She was born July 13, 1931, in Mount Ayr, Iowa, to Eddie Graham and Gladys Kendall Graham.

She was a graduate of Mount Ayr High School. She married William Harold Kidney in 1951. She worked as a longtime bookkeeper at Ables-Land in Tyler, Texas. In 1992, she moved to Gentry, Ark., and went to work as the secretary for the Ozark Adventist Elementary School. Later, she went to work as the bookkeeper for the Gentry Seventh-day Adventist Church, where she was a member.

She was preceded in death by her husband.

She is survived by her daughter, Dena Norwood and husband Phil of Westville, Okla.; one son, Billy Kidney of Whitehouse, Texas; two grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Sunday, May 29, 2016, at Tyler Memorial Cemetery in Tyler, Texas, with Ted Benson officiating.

Mayes Eugene Rogers

Mayes Eugene Rogers, 47, of Kansas, Okla., died Monday, May 23, 2016, at Regency Hospital in Springdale, Ark. He was born Nov. 19, 1968, in Tahlequah, Okla., to Mayes E. Rogers Sr. and Ella Mae Barnett Rogers.

He married Christi Lynn Roberts on June 27, 2002. He worked as a welder, and enjoyed fishing, hunting, cooking, dancing and singing. He coached boys baseball on the Siloam Springs Youth League and was a member of the Siloam Springs Church of the Nazarene.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and a sister, Ramona Lamb.

He is survived by his wife; three sons, Joshua Rogers of the home, Kyle Watkins and wife Katie, and Devon Watkins and wife Brittany, all of Kansas, Okla.; a sister, Rita Morrison of Oaks, Okla.; and one granddaughter.

A memorial service was held May 25 at the Siloam Springs Church of the Nazarene
