John Brown University's Department of Music and Theatre will host French soprano Laetitia Grimaldi Spitzer and South African/Israeli pianist Ammiel Bushakevitz at 3 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 20, in the Berry Performing Arts Center.

Spitzer, in 2012, graduated from the Juilliard School, N.Y., with a master's degree and has since performed in world-renowned halls and opera stages, including Carnegie Hall in 2013. Bushakevitz graduated from the Conservatoire de Paris and received the prestigious European Commission Award.

During the concert, Spitzer and Bushakevitz will perform romantic French songs, presented in the style of a Parisian salon concert from the Belle Époque, the time period between 1871 to 1914. The artists will introduce each song detailing its historical backgrounds.

Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for students. To purchase tickets, visit jbu.edu/tickets or call 479-524-7382.
