Free Senior Circle Holiday and Health Fair set for Nov. 29

A free Holiday and Health Fair for anyone over the age of 50 will be held 9:30 to 11 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 29, on the John Brown University Campus inside the Simmons Great Hall. The event is in celebration of Siloam Springs Regional Hospital's Senior Circle Chapter and its seventh anniversary.

"Every year we have a special anniversary event to celebrate all of our members and this year we really wanted to invite the community to celebrate with us," said Senior Circle Advisor Aimee Morrell.

The celebration will include more than 25 vendors from Arkansas and Oklahoma promoting health information, gift ideas and education. There will be a special giveaway for guests courtesy of Senior Circle at the registration table. A light brunch will be available and door prizes will be given out near the end of the health fair.

"Siloam Springs Regional Hospital launched the program in late 2009, and it's hard to believe we're completing our seventh year in 2016," Morrell said. "Currently, we have more than 350 members from all over the Northwest Arkansas and Northeastern Oklahoma region. Our membership is growing daily and our program offers a lot of activities and area discounts that appeal to a variety of interests."

Included in those activities are yoga classes, monthly lunch and learn events with area healthcare providers, movie days, watercolor classes, dances, educational seminars, computer classes and more. All members receive a Chamber Rewards card which offers discounts at more than 70 area businesses along with national discounts on prescriptions, vision care, dental care car rentals and more.

Although the Holiday and Health Fair is free, registration is required. For more information or to register for this event, call 479-215-3125 or email [email protected] today.
