Sophomore Jastin Redman's 30-yard blast in the 104th minute of play ended a 1-1 stalemate and delivered a 2-1 double-overtime win to the John Brown University women's soccer team over Science and Arts (Okla.) on Saturday afternoon at Alumni Field.

Redman's tally was her 10th of the season, and helped the Golden Eagles (11-1-1, 5-0 SAC) keep pace as the Sooner Athletic Conference leader and earn their sixth-straight win.

JBU found the scoreboard first in the 21st minute when sophomore Aspen Robinson tallied her 13th of the season via a well-placed header just yards away from the goal. The strike was setup by a perfectly placed 45-yard free kick from freshman Katherine Haar, who posted her sixth assist of the year.

USAO (8-6-0, 3-2 SAC) tied the score just 14 minutes later in the 35th minute. Allie Gordon slid in her sixth goal of the year off a nice pass from Bianca Cardenas, who out-ran senior Kristen Morency to a free ball at the top of the 18 before sliding a pass over to Gordon.

It was the first goal allowed by Morency and the JBU back line in 394 minutes, 40 seconds of conference play.

The hosts held a 16-13 shooting advantage through 100 minutes of play, but John Brown needed just one chance in overtime to exact revenge on the Drovers for last season's defeat in the Sooner Athletic tournament finals.

Redman won the ball in the midfield and slid past a USAO defender to keep the play alive. Just as the ball was about to get away, another slide was mandated, but this time Redman's slide-kick traveled just under the bar, past Science and Arts keeper Brandi Hutchison at the 103:37 mark of double overtime.

John Brown regains the top spot in the conference table, despite being tied with Texas Wesleyan at 5-0 in league play. JBU will take on the Rams on Thursday, a matchup that very likely may determine the 2016 SAC regular season champion.

Morency made six saves in the win while Hutchison earned four in the loss for the visitors.

The Golden Eagles returned to action on Tuesday at Southwestern Christian (Okla.). Results were not available at presstime.
