Fall cleanup this week

Fall Cleanup has been set for the week of Oct. 24, 2016.

Crews will collect clean-up items following the same route as your regular weekly trash. Monday's trash route will have their items collected on Oct. 24, Tuesday's route will have their items collected on Oct. 25, and so on.

Acceptable items include: appliances, furniture, mattresses, yard toys, lumber etc. Please bag or box all items possible. For full details, please visit http://www.siloamsprings.com/463/Fall-and-Spring-Clean-Up.

Residents have the option to bring trash loads to the Transfer Station all week, free of charge with proof of inside-city-limit residency. Call 479-524-8512 with any questions.

Tires, electronics, paints and other household hazardous waste will not be collected curbside, but can be taken to the Benton County Drop-Off Center next to the Transfer Station at 1108 E. Ashley on Tuesday and Thursday, 8 a.m. until 3:30 p.m., with the exception of a 30 minute break at noon. For limits on quantities, please see the city's website at http://www.siloamsprings.com/DocumentCenter/View/1749.

Yard waste is not included in the fall cleanup, but will be picked up on the regular monthly schedule. Please call 479-524-8512 for more information.

City crews will only be making one sweep of the city, so please have your items out for pickup Monday, Oct. 24, by 7 a.m. Once city trucks have come through your neighborhood, they will not be returning for this year's fall cleanup.
