Watts improves to 4-0

WATTS, Okla. -- Watts improved to 4-0 for the first time since 1995 after a 46-0 win against Life Christian (Okla.) on homecoming Friday night.

Quarterback Clayton Mitchell threw a 48-yard touchdown pass and also rushed for 82 yards.

Danny Ferndandez had 46 rushing yards and a touchdown, while Joe Phifer had a receiving touchown and an interception returned for a touchdown.

Blayn Harlin, Jessie Guyll and Aaron Mitchell also rushed for touchdowns.

The game ended at halftime with Watts up 46-0.

The Engineers host Prue (3-1) at 7 p.m. on Friday looking to go 5-0 for the first time since 1983.

Victory Christian 42, Kansas 0

KANSAS, Okla. -- Tyler Hicks scored four touchdowns as Tulsa (Okla.) private school Victory Christian defeated Kansas (Okla.) 42-0. Victory Christian (3-1) scored three touchdowns in the second quarter to take a 21-0 lead at halftime.

The Conquerors made it 28-0 in the third quarter and scored two more times in the fourth.

The Comets (0-4) play at Salina this week.

Oaks 40, Cave Springs 14

CAVE SPRINGS, Okla. -- Oaks quarterback Jess Robbins rushed for three touchdowns and threw for another as the Warriors defeated Cave Springs on the road.

Robbins completed 8 of 12 passes for 181 yards and three touchdowns. He also rushed for 74 yards and a score.

Cyrus James carried for 115 yards and on seven carries and scored two touchdowns. Trey Fields caught two passes for 63 yards and two touchdowns, while Aaron Budder had 52 yards receiving and a score.

T.J. Cummings Oaks (3-1) with 13 tackles, while Kawliga Vann had 10 and Shae Beaver nine tackles with an interception.

Oaks returns to action this week at home against Gans.
