Edna Elvyra Messer
Edna Elvyra Messer, 82, of West Siloam Springs, Okla., died Sept. 21, 2016.
She was born June 5, 1934, in Kansas, Okla., to James Eli Hardcastle and Effie Spencer Hardcastle. She married Conley Messer in May of 1959 in Roswell, N.M. She worked as a nurse's aide in Sunset Villa in Roswell as well as private in-home nursing. She was of the Nazarene faith.
She was preceded in death by her husband; two daughters, Nancy Woods and Joanie McCall; and two sisters, Emma Rogers and Ethel Tunell.
She is survived by four children, Gene Burgos and wife Yolanda of Artesia, N.M., Connie Smart and husband Dean of Fayetteville, N.C., Jeff Messer of Evansville, Ark., and Todd Messer and wife Carmen of Prairie Grove, Ark.; 13 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Graveside services were Sept. 24, 2016, at Baptist Mission Cemetery in Westville, Okla.

Zack Lee Schultz
Zack Lee Schultz, 39, of Siloam Springs, Ark., died Sept. 24, 2016.
He was born Jan. 26, 1977, in Miami, Fla., to Jerry Lee Schultz and Carol Dubisky Patry. He married Brenda Elliott on April 22, 2006 in Colorado. He moved to Siloam Springs 12 years ago from Colorado and went to work in construction, specifically working on home improvements. He was a member of Sager Creek Community Church in Siloam Springs.
He is survived by his wife; two children, Autumn Schultz and Ashton Schultz; his father, Jerry Schultz and wife Cheryl of Siloam Springs; his mother, Carol Patry and husband Bob of Titusville, Fla.; two sisters, Tera Parker of Aurora, Colo., and Desiree Richmond of Orange City, Fla.; and his paternal grandmother, Geraldine Stephens of Siloam Springs.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 29, 2016, at Wasson Funeral Home in Siloam Springs.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Friday Sept. 30, 2016, at Sager Creek Community Church with Chaplain Nick Braschler and Pastor Mike Greenwood officiating.
