Seventh-grade teams host jamboree

The Siloam Springs seventh-grade basketball teams hosted a jamboree on Saturday against Gravette and Gentry.

The seventh-grade girls Maroon and White teams both won big against Gravette during the morning sessions. No official book was kept.

The Maroon girls won 23-7 against Gentry, while the White team won 12-4 against the Lady Pioneers. Grace Price led the Lady Panthers with eight points, while Faith Ellis had seven, Emily Myers six, Brooke Ross four, Sophie Stephenson four, Kalianhni Jacklick three, Cailee Johnson two, Audrey Sears one. Brooke Smith also took a charge, which head coach Janet Moore said is very rare in a seventh-grade game.

Boys

The Siloam Springs seventh-grade boys defeated Gravette in the first game. A score was not available. The Panthers lost to Gentry in the second game 14-11.

The Panthers' B team defeated Gravette and Gentry. No book individual scores were kept.

Both seventh-grade teams play at Farmington on Wednesday in their final games of the fall semester.
