Thomas 'Tom' Darell Aman

Thomas "Tom" Darell Aman, 65,t of Cassville, Mo., and longtime resident of Decatur, Ark., died on Dec. 26, 2017, at Mercy Hospital in Cassville.

He was born on April 13, 1952, in Marshalltown, Iowa, to Richard Aman and Glenda Malloy Aman. He married Donna Clark on March 1, 1977, in Locust Grove, Okla. He worked as a salesman for auto parts. He also ran Aman's Red Jack Bar-B-Que. He was a Marine Corps Veteran of the Vietnam War.

He is survived by his wife, Donna; four children, Thomas Darell Aman II of Tucker, Ark., Gayla Bennett and husband Darrel of Colcord, Okla., Stacy Robinson of Gentry, Ark., and Tommy Aman of Cassville; seven grandchildren; one soon to be great-grandchild; five sisters, Carolyn Sue Jeck of Tulsa, Okla., Diane Bennett of Locust Grove, Okla., Linda Holman of Peggs, Okla., Dawn Ann James of Garfield, Ark., and Annette Aman of Pryor, Okla.; five brothers, John Dean Aman of Huntsville, Ark., Stephen Aman of Texas, Danny Aman of Oklahoma City, Okla., Donnie Aman of Oklahoma City, and Jared Estes of Locust Grove; several aunts and uncles; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 30, 2017, at Wasson Funeral Home, Siloam Springs, with Pastor Bill Anderson officiating. Burial followed at Decatur Cemetery, Decatur.

Richard Loren Davis

Richard Loren Davis, 99, of Gentry, Ark., died Nov. 29, 2017, in Siloam Springs, Ark. He was born Oct. 6, 1918, in Gentry, the son of William Key Davis and Vida Fenton Smith Davis.

He was preceded in death by Doris, his beloved wife; his parents; his siblings, Merrill Davis, Linton Davis, Ethel Davis, Catherine Davis and Harold Davis; one daughter-in-law, Kathleen Davis; and one son-in-law, Dennis Murray.

He is survived by his children, John Davis and wife Carol of San Marcos, Texas, Karen Davis Rees and husband Ben of Hong Kong, China, Mark Davis and wife Arlene of Gentry, Tim Davis of Yale and Anne Davis Murray of Choctaw, Okla.; his 10 grandchildren;22 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

A Memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 6 to celebrate the life of Loren Davis. The service will be at the First Christian Church in Gentry.

Mona Lee Feaster

Mona Lee Feaster, 90, of Broken Arrow, Okla., died on Dec. 27, 2017, at Forest Hills Care and Rehabilitation Center in Broken Arrow.

She was born on Dec. 18, 1927, in Gentry, Ark., the daughter of Elbert Feaster and Eula Rauscher Feaster. She graduated from Gentry High School and worked as an administrative assistant for American Airlines. She worshiped at many churches, recently attending Abundant Life Church in Tahlequah, Okla.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Virgil Feaster and Duane Feaster; and three sisters, Lorene Gatrell, Faye Sellers, and Maxine Lierly.

She is survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Graveside services were held at 11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 29, 2017, at Oak Hill Cemetery, in Siloam Springs, Ark., with Pastor Chip Reagan officiating.

Danielle Mitchell

Danielle Mitchell, 52, of Siloam Springs, Ark., died Dec. 16, 2017, at her home.

She was born May 9, 1965, Huntington Park, Calif., to Laverne D. Watson and Janice Thompson Watson.

She is survived by her husband, John Mitchell; three children, Wade Mitchell, Jessica Mitchell and Nicholas Sandoval; her mother, Janice Warner and husband Jack; one sister, Kimberly Ledesma; and two grandchildren.

Burial was in Yell Cemetery in Robinson Community, Ark.

Isaac Nathan Postoak

Isaac Nathan Postoak, 21, of Siloam Springs, Ark., died Dec. 24, 2017, in Springfield, Mo.

He was born on May 19, 1996, in Siloam Springs, the son of Lance Darwin Postoak and Pamela Jo Knee Postoak. He was a lifelong resident of Siloam Springs. He worked in production at Simmons Foods Inc. He was a member of Stateline Baptist Church in Watts, Okla.

He was preceded in death by his father, Lance Postoak; his maternal grandfather, Albert Knee; and his paternal grandparents, Phillip and Gayle Postoak.

He is survived by his mother, Pam Postoak; one sister, Rachael Nofire of Siloam Springs; half-sister, Savannah Mendoza of Athens, Ala.; half-brother, Drew Postoak of Alabama; and grandmother, Sue Knee of Siloam Springs.

Memorial services will be 2 p.m. Friday, Jan. 5, 2017, at Wasson Funeral Home in Siloam Springs, with Pastor Craig Ingram officiating. Burial will be at Springtown Cemetery at a later date.

Ofelia Reyes

Ofelia Reyes, 58, of Siloam Springs, Ark., died Dec. 21, 2017, in Tontitown, Ark.

She was born Jan. 19, 1959, in San Jose Guayabal, Cuscatlan, El Savador, the daughter of Leoncio Acosta and Martina Filomena Navas. She married Jose Luis Reyes. She worked for Simmons Foods Inc.

She was preceded in death by her father; her husband; one sister; and two brothers.

She is survived by her sons, Luis Reyes and wife Nicole of Old Hickory, Tenn., and Jorge Reyes and wife LaTara of Gentry, Ark.; her mother, Martina Filomena Navas; sisters, Enma Acosta DeMontes, Maria Elba Acosta Mejia, Lidia Acosta Rodriguez and Berta Alicia Acosta; brothers, Miguel Angel Acosta and Jose Adan Acosta; and four grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 3, 2018, at Gentry Seventh Day Adventist Church, Gentry. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery in Siloam Springs.

Evelyn L. Spurlock

Evelyn L. Spurlock, a lifelong resident of Fayetteville, Ark., passed away Sunday, December 24, 2017, at the Willard Walker Hospice Home. She was born on June 14, 1931, to Paul and Mildred Carter Ball.

She was preceded in death by her husband, George Lee Spurlock; one grandson, Terry Spurlock; one brother; and two sisters.

Evelyn is survived by three sons, Gary Spurlock (Judy) of Fayetteville, Roger Spurlock (Diane) of Siloam Springs, Ark., and Donald Spurlock (Jackie) of Springdale, Ark.; one daughter, Debbie Jones (Clayton) of Cordova, Tenn.; two brothers, Ernest and Randy Ball; two sisters, Pauline Jones and Martha King; 11 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-granddaughter; and several nieces and nephews.

She was a longtime member of New Life Tabernacle Church. Evelyn was attending Liberty Baptist Church in Siloam Springs.

The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. Friday, December 29, 2017, at Beard's Chapel.

Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Saturday, December 30, 2017, at Beard's Chapel with the Reverend West Flaugh officiating. Interment will follow in Witter Cemetery under the direction of Beard's Chapel.
