Siloam Springs native, Mildred Guilliams Britt, a then-resident of Colorado, generously donated 30 photographs and several items of archival material to the Siloam Springs Museum. Those items primarily dated to the 1920s and included many large 8 by 10 black and white photographs of the city and surrounds.

Among the donated photos were a view of Gypsy Camp with the girls in costume, two views of the 1927 flood, the John Brown University Drum Corps and several local businessmen costumed to participate in a minstrel show. There were also some Britt family and Guilliams family photographs.

Benton County, Arkansas, in Pictures and Prose, a 1926 promotional publication, was among the other archival material. It described Siloam Springs, the "City of Fountains," as "Bright with the resplendency of culture, throbbing with the life blood of industry and commerce, which seeks only to find a more liberal and widely extended expression..." The town at the time had a population of 4,000, a "well-equipped campground," "one of the best systems of schools of any town of its size in Arkansas," and many businesses.
