Mary Lois Brickey

Mary Lois Brickey, 84, of Kansas, Okla., died June 12, 2017, at her home.

She was born Jan. 6, 1933, in Milfay, Okla., to Daniel Anderson and Dorothy Woods Anderson. She married E.L. Brickey in 1973. She owned and operated a store in Chewey, Okla., and also ran a café. She was of the Baptist faith.

She was preceded in death by her husband; two sons, Jimmy and Gary Jones; one sister; and one brother.

She is survived by two sons, Jerry Jones of Kansas, Okla., and Tommy Jones of Inola, Okla.; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; four sisters, Linda Hobbs, Bonnie Herrington, Judy Bradford and Charlene Benson, all of Bristow, Okla.; and four brothers, Steve Anderson of Sapulpa, Okla., James Anderson of Bristow, Danny Anderson of Sand Springs, Okla., and William Anderson of Bristow.

Funeral services were June 16, 2017, at Long Prairie Baptist Church in Kansas, Okla. Burial was at Kansas Cemetery in Kansas, Okla.

Dolly Carlena Brown

Dolly Carlena Brown, 74-year-old resident of West Siloam Springs, Oklahoma, died June 14, 2017, at her home. Born June 2, 1943, in Siloam Springs, Arkansas, she was the daughter of Carr Harless and Cecil Jones Harless. She graduated from Watts High School. Dolly married Dale Brown on March 3, 1962. She enjoyed traveling with Travelmasters and Kincaid Tours. Dolly was a member of Bethel United Methodist Church in West Siloam Springs.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Dale; and one son, Frederick Brown.

Dolly is survived by two daughters, Anita Hirsch and husband Dave of Kansas, Oklahoma, and Kim Thomason and husband Jack of Siloam Springs; one grandson, Bret Hirsch and wife Ashley of Louisville, Kentucky; and two granddaughters, Erin Hirsch of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, and Kailee Thomason of Siloam Springs.

Funeral services were 2 p.m. Saturday, June 17, 2017, at Wasson Funeral Home, Siloam Springs, with Mr. Larry Ellis officiating. Burial was at Bell Cemetery in Watts, Oklahoma. Velma Finley

Velma Finley, 82, of Watts, Okla., died June 16, 2017, at Circle of Life Hospice in Springdale, Ark.

She was born May 15, 1935, in Lone Grove, Okla., to Harvey W. Graham and Noveita Ruth Stith Graham. She married Dewayne Finley on June 6, 1959. She worked as a bank teller and school teacher. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Watts, Okla., and a member of the Society of Mayflower Descendants.

She was preceded in death by her husband; and two sisters, Cecile Spriggs and Sandra Moncure.

She is survived by two sons, Bill Finley and wife Robin of Cedarville, Ark., and Mike Finley and wife Corona of Watts; a daughter, Delayne Rooks and husband Will of Fort Smith, Ark.; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Pat Blair and Billie Klinglesmith both of Fort Worth, Texas.

A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday, June 20, 2017, at First Baptist Church in Watts. Burial of ashes will be at Lightning Ridge Cemetery in Pontotoc County, Okla., at a later date.

Charles Lindberg Kimberling

Charles Lindberg Kimberling, 89-year-old resident of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, died June 15, 2017, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Born February 7, 1928, in Paris, Arkansas, he was the son of Sam Kimberling and Lorena Kimberling.

Charles graduated from Paris High School. Charles and his beloved wife Joyce Wasson were married for 65 years. They married in August of 1951 in Springtown, Arkansas. He served in the United States Army as a member of the 82nd Airborne. After leaving the military, Charles graduated from the University of Arkansas with a Bachelor's of Science in Engineering. He later completed his Master's Degree at Oklahoma State University. Charles worked as a civil engineer for the city of Tulsa. After retiring from the city, he worked as a consulting engineer for Craig and Keithline for approximately 20 years.

He was preceded in death by his son, Volney Kimberling; one infant daughter, Gail; and nine brothers and sisters.

He is survived by his wife, Joyce Kimberling of the home; and one daughter, Vicki Kimberling (Sarah McCall) of Dallas, Texas.

James "Jim" Franklin Masterson

James "Jim" Franklin Masterson, 79, of Siloam Springs, Ark., died on June 14, 2017, at Siloam Springs Nursing and Rehab.

He was born June 15, 1937, to Glenn D. and Ruby L. Masterson in Bluffton, Ind. He married Elizabeth Ann Bryant on Oct. 23, 1960, in Phoenix, Ind. He and his family transferred from Berne, Ind., to Arkansas in 1981 with CTS Corporation, where he was employed as a quality control manager. He was a faithful member of Siloam Springs Nazarene Church. He loved music, singing solos, and being in church choirs and quartets. He was known for his smile. He loved spending time with his family, camping and spending time outdoors.

He was preceded in death by one son, Glenn Wesley Masterson; one brother, Charles Masterson; and one sister, Betty Masterson.

He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Ann; one daughter, Teryl Ann Lynn and husband Randy of Gilmer, Texas; two sons, Troy James Masterson and wife Sonya of Protem, Mo., and Brent Masterson of Siloam Springs; three grandsons; one sister, Mary Amstutz and husband Stan of Berne; two step-grandchildren; and two step-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were June 17, 2017, at Wasson Funeral Home in Siloam Springs, with Pastor Sandy Statham and Pastor Tim Traxel officiating. Burial was at Oak Hill Cemetery in Siloam Springs.

David Eugene Welch II

David Eugene Welch II, 45-year-old resident of Siloam Springs, Arkansas, died June 15, 2017, at Northwest Medical Center in Springdale, Arkansas. Born November 7, 1971, in Siloam Springs, he was the son of David Eugene Welch and Thelma "Jeanie" Watkins Welch.

He graduated from Siloam Springs High School in 1990. David lived his whole life in the Siloam Springs area. He worked for a short time at Pipe Life and Gates Rubber Company in Siloam Springs, but spent most of his time working for Brookshire Landscaping.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents.

He is survived by his parents, David and Thelma "Jeanie" Welch of Siloam Springs; one son, David Eugene Welch III of Siloam Springs; one sister, Sheila Renee Mattler of Tahlequah, Oklahoma; aunt, Cheryl Potter of Colcord, Oklahoma; nephew, Justin Fowler; niece, Abby Burke; numerous cousins; and godparents, Sue and Tony Brookshire.

Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, June 20, 2017, at Wasson Funeral Home in Siloam Springs, with Mr. Larry Ellis officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery, Siloam Springs.
