Seventh-grade football defeated by Springdale Sonora

SPRINGDALE -- The Siloam Springs seventh-grade football team was defeated Monday 30-8 by Springdale Sonora at Jarrell Williams Bulldog Stadium.

The Panthers scored their only touchdown on a 60-yard run in the fourth quarter by Kevin Depaz. The two-point conversion run was good by Tyson Seyer.

Siloam Springs was plagued by five turnovers offensively and poor tackling and poor angles on a fast tailback defensively, according to head coach Chuck Jones.

The Panthers are scheduled to return to action at Harrison on Tuesday, Oct. 24.
