Storm postpones Golden Eagles' soccer matches in Tennessee

n JBU will now play Cumberland (Tenn.) on Monday.

The John Brown University soccer teams' matches at Cumberland (Tenn.) have been postponed to Monday morning in Lebanon, Tenn., the school announced Wednesday.

The remnants of hurricane Harvey were scheduled to move through central Tennessee on Thursday, forcing officials to move the women's and men's doubleheader, which was originally scheduled for Thursday, to Labor Day at Cumberland's Kirk Field at Lindsey Donnell Stadium.

The Phoenix women's soccer team, ranked No. 16 in the nation, will face No. 18 JBU on Monday at 10 a.m. before the No. 19 Golden Eagle men's soccer team faces Cumberland shortly after at noon.

As of presstime, JBU's matches at Bethel (Tenn.) on Saturday were to go on as scheduled. Results were not available at presstime.
