Bobby Wayne Counts

Bobby Wayne Counts, 62, of Colcord, Okla., died April 10, 2018, at Northwest Medical Center in Bentonville, Ark.

He was born Sept. 25, 1955, in Springdale, Ark., to Wayne and Margaret Counts. He graduated from high school in Watts, Okla. He worked for Simmons Foods in Siloam Springs, Ark., ordering parts and entering data in their diesel shop. He enjoyed fishing and bowling at J-Lanes in Jay, Okla., where he once bowled a 299.

He is survived by one son, Erik Counts and wife Tiffany Hastings of Watts; two granddaughters; a sister, Melody Snyder of Siloam Springs; and a brother, Mike Counts of Siloam Springs.

Visitation was April 13, 2018, at Wasson Funeral Home in Siloam Springs. A private cremation followed the visitation.

James Elmer Horton

James Elmer Horton, 81, of Gentry, Ark., died April 9, 2018, at his home.

He was born July 4, 1936, in Lambert, Miss., to Elmer Horton and Etoile Purdy Horton. He married JoAnne Halford. He was a retired architect for Harris French and Associates, in Bentonville, Ark., and was a member of First Baptist Church in Gentry. He served in the U.S. Army.

He was preceded in death by his wife, JoAnne and sister, Virginia Jones.

He is survived by a son, Perry Horton of Gentry, Ark., and two granddaughters.

A service will be held at a later date.
