For the first time this season and the fifth time in her career, junior Baily Cameron was named the Sooner Athletic Conference's Player of the Week, the conference office announced Monday afternoon.

Behind a 22-of-30 effort from the field (73.3 percent), the Siloam Springs native powered the No. 19 John Brown University women's basketball team to a perfect 3-0 week, upping its record to 10-4 overall and 4-1 in league play. Cameron also drained 5 of 9 attempts from behind the 3-point line.

In addition to four assists, five blocks and five steals, Cameron posted her third double-double of the season with a 19-point, 10-rebound effort in JBU's upset of No. 5 Wayland Baptist (Texas) on Thursday (Jan. 4). She now ranks second in the conference in shooting percentage (57.3) and third in total points per game (16.1).
