Kenemore named to environmental board

Larry Kenemore Jr. of Siloam Springs was recently appointed to the Board of Directors of the Arkansas Environmental Education Association to serve through 2019.

Kenemore is the CEO of Stat-Medicament-Disposal Corporation, 2017 winner of the SCORE (Service Corps of Retired Executives) Outstanding Green Business of the Year Award.

The AEEA is a networking and information-based nonprofit organization in Arkansas that works with educators, students, businesses, government and the general public to increase awareness and knowledge about the environment.

Promoting environmental education leads to a more environmentally literate public, which provides a better understanding of how to keep Arkansas the Natural State. AEEA's purpose is to promote and advocate for environmental education which incorporates a number of disciplines, including conservation and natural resource education.

AEEA is the Arkansas affiliate of the North American Association for Environmental Education. The affiliate network promotes collaboration for maximum effectiveness and efficiency, and is a unified voice for environmental education across North America and beyond.
