Richard Lee Oliver

Richard Lee Oliver, 80, of Gentry, Arkansas, passed away on Thursday, June 7, 2018, at his home, peacefully.

Richard was born on July 14, 1937, in Camden, Illinois, to William and Nettie Oliver. On March 17, 1978, he married Cathy Snyder-Oliver in La Harpe, Illinois. He attended the Victory Missionary Baptist Church in Gentry, Arkansas. Richard enjoyed doing yard work, visiting with friends, and had an interest in old tractors. Most of all, he cherished spending time with his family and grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife, Cathy of the home; two daughters, Barbara Oliver of La Harpe, Ill., and Christen Vancuren of Siloam Springs, Ark.; one brother, Russell Oliver of Blandinsville, Ill.; two sisters, Kathleen Barry of Macomb, Ill., and Christine Agans of Rushville, Ill.; three grandchildren, Kevin Oliver, Ross Wilmoth, and Abri Vancuren; two step-grandchildren, Luke Vancuren and Gabe Vancuren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one son; three daughters; seven brothers; and two sisters.

Mary Sue Rone

Mary Sue Rone, 68, of Colcord, Okla., died June 4, 2018, in Fayetteville, Ark.

She was born July 28, 1949, in Colorado City, Texas, to Richard Palone and Mary Frances Center Elmore. She married Charles Rone on May 7, 1985. She was a nurse.

She was preceded in death by her husband; daughter, Misti Harris; and son-in-law, Ernie Sixkiller.

She is survived by three daughters, Lori Clark and husband Randal of Summers, Ark., Christi Sixkiller of West Siloam Springs, Okla., and Melani Conkling and husband Jeremy of Bella Vista, Ark.; eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and a brother, Bill Denton of Fayetteville.

Visitation was June 7, 2018, at Wasson Funeral Home in Siloam Springs, Ark. Graveside services were private.

William Jeffrey Swint

William Jeffrey Swint, 61, died May 25, 2018, in San Antonio, Texas.

He was born March 25, 1957, in Sylacauga, Ala.

He is survived by two daughters, Caitlin Logsdon and husband Clayton of College Station, Texas, and Carlianne Blossom Swint of College Station; grandson, Croy James Logsdon of College Station; parents, Clyde and June Swint of Siloam Springs, Ark.; two sisters, Gail Walters and husband Greg of Siloam Springs and Jill Haley and husband Kelly of Van Buren, Ark.

No services are planned at this time.
