JBU graduation planned for Saturday

A total of 359 traditional undergraduate, graduate and online students will receive diplomas.

John Brown University's spring commencement ceremonies are planned for Saturday, May 5.

A total of 231 traditional undergraduate students, and 128 graduate and online students are expected to receive their diplomas, according to Tarah Thomas, university communications specialist.

Terri Wubbena, JBU professor of music, will deliver this year's undergraduate commencement address. Jerry R. Geisler III, senior vice president and chief information security officer for Walmart, will deliver the address for graduate and online students, Thomas said.

The ceremony for undergraduate students is planned for 10 a.m. followed by a ceremony for graduate and online students at 2 p.m.
