More than 30 vendors from Arkansas and Oklahoma took part in the health expo.

More than 650 people from Arkansas and Oklahoma attended the Siloam Springs Regional Hospital's Healthy Community Fair held on the hospital campus on May 5.

Attractions included a health expo with 30 vendors from Arkansas and Oklahoma and a healthy journey obstacle course hosted by the Healthy Community Advisory Council. Kids got to learn about the emergency department through a teddy bear clinic, with teddy bears provided by the Siloam Springs Regional Hospital Auxiliary and SSRH.

Children and adults learned about the AR SAVES (Arkansas Stroke Assistance through Virtual Emergency Support, while touring the organization's giant inflatable brain. The MedFlight air ambulance helicopter, and emergency vehicles provided by the Siloam Springs police and fire departments, and Northwest Health were also on display.

New this year was a kids zone that included face painting by the Boys & Girls Club of Western Benton County, games organized by SSRH staff and volunteers, fingerprinting by the Siloam Springs Police Department and a fire safety house. Sam's Club provided a hydration station and Good Shepherd Hospice provided food.
