Norma "Cookie" Fields

Norma "Cookie" Fields, 74, of Siloam Springs, Ark., died Aug. 25, 2018, in San Antonio, Texas.

She was born Oct. 18, 1943, in Brooklyn, N.Y., to Francisco Raymond Delgado and Rose Marie Delgado. She married Richard A. Fields. She was the owner and operator of the Spanish Villa Restaurant as well as Cookie's Oasis. She also was a licensed practical nurse for Washington Regional Hospital before retiring. She was a member of Christ Temple Church in West Siloam Springs, Okla.

She is survived by six children, Lily Soto of Siloam Springs, John Soto and wife Astrid Soto of Siloam Springs, Nancy Bailey and husband David of San Antonio, Michelle Laird and husband Mark of Springdale, Ark., Tina Marie Hitcher of Fayetteville, Ark., and Chris Fields and wife Jennifer Fields of Pottsville, Ark.; more than 60 grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and a sibling, Luis "Billy" Vasquez of Camden, N.J.

Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, Sept. 3, 2018, at Wasson Funeral Home in Siloam Springs.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 4, 2018, at Wasson Funeral Home in Siloam Springs. Burial will follow at Bell Cemetery in Watts, Okla.
