Kiley Weir

My name is Kiley Weir, and I am President of the Siloam Springs FFA Chapter. I'm a senior and have been in FFA for six years. I have shown and raised cattle since I was 9. I got my start when my papa helped me purchase my first show heifer and from then on I was hooked on showing. My family is heavily involved in agriculture and we show cattle across the state together. I am on the Livestock Judging and Parliamentary Procedure team. My greatest accomplishment has been holding the office of President. I always knew I wanted to be an officer because I looked up to the past officers. Being President, I want to get the younger generation excited about agriculture and show them how FFA has impacted me by helping me in growing my leadership skills; I want to help others have the same experience I did through this organization. FFA is like a second family to me, and we all get along with each other and have fun while doing so. I plan to attend Fort Scott Community College in the fall and will compete on their Livestock Judging team. After I am finished at Fort Scott I plan to transfer to the University of Arkansas and pursue a degree in the beef cattle industry, either in genetics or nutrition.
