Mariana Bly, 83, of Siloam Springs, Ark., died Jan. 7, 2013, at Circle of Life Hospice in Springdale, Ark.

She was born Nov. 22, 1929, in Allen, Texas, to Garnet Howlett and Alice Carroll Howlett.

She retired as a travel auditor for the University of Arkansas after more than 25 years of service. She was of the Baptist faith.

She was preceded in death by her husband J.C. Bly in March 2007, and a great-grandchild.

She is survived by two daughters, Susan Harris and husband Alan of Lowell, Ark., and Laura Hudgens and husband Dana of Siloam Springs; two sons, David Bly and wife Barbara of Tulsa, Okla., and Jackie Bly and wife Diane of Verdigris, Okla.; 10 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Jean Thomas of Hope, Ark., and Nancy Byler of Allen, Texas.

Funeral was Saturday, Jan. 12, 2013, at Wasson Memorial Chapel in Siloam Springs with Larry Ellis officiating.

Burial followed at Oak Hill Cemetery in Siloam Springs.

Truman Winston Duncan

Truman Winston Duncan, 81, of Sulphur Springs, Ark., died Tuesday, Jan. 8, 2013, at his home.

He was born June 6, 1931, in Benton County, Ark., to Walter Lee and Lillie Clark Duncan.

He was a lifelong resident of the area. He was a general laborer with the chicken and canning industry. He attended Gentry United Methodist Church.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Nellie Mae, and his second wife, Virginia.

He is survived by his stepchildren, Pat Burks of the home, Johnny Cox, Larry Cox, Loretta Higgs and Michael Cox all of Gentry, Stella Bowman of Columbus, Kan., Wesley Cox of Oklahoma and Dale Cox of Vinita, Oklahoma; and a sister, Ann Romaine of Texas.

Glenn Allen Coleman, 55, of Watts, Okla., died Jan. 5, 2013, in Watts.

Bill Russell Fields

Bill Russell Fields, 70, of Westville, Okla., died Jan. 5, 2013, at his home.

He was born March 31, 1942, in Bentonville, Ark., to Russell Edison Fields and Lexie Eileen Henry Fields.

He was an Army veteran. He worked for Gates Rubber Co. and was a master electrician.

He is survived by a daughter, Kristi Johnson of Jane, Mo.; a son, Wes Fields and wife Elva of Phoenix, Ariz.; two grandchildren; his mother of Phoenix; and a brother, Larry Fields of Arizona.

Memorial service will be 11 a.m., Tuesday, Jan. 15, 2013, at Wasson Memorial Chapel in Siloam Springs, Ark., with Larry Ellis officiating.

Freeman Linus Fletcher, 89, of Colcord, Okla., died Thursday, Jan. 10, 2013, at Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville, Ark.

He was born Sept. 18, 1923, in the Chamberlain Community of Delaware County, Okla., to William and Ollie Fletcher.

He married his wife of 66 years Arzela Marie Ledford in Columbus, Kan., in 1946.

He served his country in World War II and was in the U.S. Army 339th Infantry Division.

He was a member of the Moseley Regular United Baptist Church, American Legion - Anderson Key Post and Colcord Riding Club.

He was preceded in death by a son, Scott Eric Fletcher; two grandchildren; two brothers, Marvin and Onnie Fletcher; and a sister, Nola Edwards.

He is survived by his wife of the home; children, Naomi Teafatiller-Sexauer and husband George and Douglas Fletcher and wife Karen, all of Siloam Springs, Ark., Onnie Lynn Fletcher of Houston, Texas, and David Fletcher and wife Dana of Colcord, Okla.; 12 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Lois Jenks and husband Eugene of Vinta, Okla., and Nova Brown of Sacramento, Calif.

Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 13, 2013, at Backstrom - Pyeatte Funeral Home in Siloam Springs.

Funeral will be 2 p.m. Monday, Jan. 14, 2013, atMoseley Regular United Baptist Church in West Siloam Springs, Okla.

Burial will be at Johnson Cemetery in West Siloam Springs.

Mary Olive Hix

Mary Olive Hix, 84, of Flint Ridge, Okla., died Jan.

10, 2013, in Sand Springs, Okla.

She was born June 10, 1928, in Paducah, Texas, to Matt Dowell Gold and Virgie Bruce Gold.

She was a member of Flint Ridge Fire Fighters Auxiliary and Ridge Women. She attended Flint Ridge Chapel in Flint Ridge, Okla.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lacy Hix, on Jan. 22, 1999; and a son, Tom Hix, on Sept. 17, 2012.

She is survived by four sons, Michael Hix of Colcord, Okla., Martin Hix of Tulsa, Okla., Keith Hix of Manford, Okla., and Bill Hix of Kansas, Okla.;

two daughters, Marilyn Williams of Sand Springs, Okla., and Teresa Zeigler of Tulsa, Okla.; 13 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Dolores Koss of Colcord, Okla.

Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m., Sunday, Jan. 13, 2013, at Wasson Funeral Home in Siloam Springs, Ark.

Funeral will be 2 p.m., Monday, Jan. 14, 2013, at Wasson Memorial Chapel in Siloam Springs with Jeff Kennedy officiating.

Burial will follow at Kansas Cemetery in Kansas, Okla.

Memorial service was Saturday, Jan. 12, 2013, at Grace United Methodist Church in Tulsa, Okla.

Helen Mae Kasper

Helen Mae Kasper, 84, of Bentonville, Ark., died Monday, Jan. 7, 2013, at Mercy Hospital in Springfield, Mo.

She was born Dec.

24, 1928, near Elyria, Kan., to the late Lena L. Stucky and Gideon J.

Krehbiel.

She attended Elyria country school and attended and graduated from McPherson High School in McPherson, Kan.

She was a member of First Mennonite Church in McPherson.

She was a telephone operator at Southwestern Bell for 37 years and five months.

She later worked at Friendship House Cafeteria and was working as a reflexologist.

She was a member of the Telephone Pioneers and past secretary for the Kansas Chapter of American Massage Therapy Association.

She enjoyed flowers, health and reflexology.

She married Robert C.

Kasper on Dec. 20, 1958, at Eden Mennonite Church in Moundridge, Kan.

She was preceded in death by her husband;

three sisters, Ethel Krehbiel, Rose Krehbiel, and Vera French; and a brother, Arnold Krehbiel.

She is survived by a sister, Mary Kennamon of Siloam Springs, Ark.

Funeral was Friday, Jan.

11, 2013, at First Mennonite Church in McPherson, Kan., with Pastor Kathy Neufeld Dunn officiating.

Burial was at McPherson Cemetery in McPherson.
