Bill Ray Anderson

Bill Ray Anderson, 78, of Colcord, Okla., died Dec. 19, 2014, in his home.

Born Sept. 25, 1936, in Delaware County, Okla., he was the son of Raymond A. and Hazel Marie (Ketterman) Anderson. Bill and Betty Lively were married Aug. 10, 1957, in Westville, Okla. He was a cattle rancher.

He was preceded in death by his parents, daughter Pam Anderson Holston, brother Loyd Anderson and sister Rita Shelley.

Survivors include his wife Betty of the home; son Tony Anderson and wife Carla of Grove, Okla.; daughters Vicki Bowen and husband Dennis of Kansas, Okla., and Julie Kay Anderson of Colcord, Okla.; 10 grandchildren, Tony Anderson, Holly Anderson, Zack Crittenden, Ashley Whaler, Emily Welch, Staci Jordan, Whitney Bowen, Rayce Bowen, Kirsten Anderson and Shane Bowen; 13 great-grandchildren and sister Emma Jo Place of Watts, Okla.

Memorial services will be 2 p.m., Monday, Dec. 22, 2014, at Wasson Memorial Chapel in Siloam Springs, Ark.

Johnny Mac Glass

Johnny Mac Glass, 39, of Gentry, Ark., died Dec. 16, 2014, at Siloam Springs Regional Hospital.

He was born Feb. 11, 1975, to Larry Babcock and Lynne Friend Glass.

He was a lifetime resident of Northwest Arkansas. He graduated from Gentry High School in 1993. He was active in high school sports in Gentry. He was an avid Dallas Cowboys and Arkansas Razorbacks fan. He worked at the Sonic Drive-In and also worked for Always There Lawn Care.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Lloyd and Virginia Babcock; and grandfather, Charles Friend.

He is survived by his parents; one brother, Drew Babcock of Gentry; and grandmother, Barbara Whitmire of Douglas, Ga.

Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m., Sunday, Dec. 21, 2014, at Wasson Funeral Home in Siloam Springs.

Memorial services will be 10 a.m. Monday, Dec. 22, 2014, at Gentry United Methodist Church in Gentry.

Paul F. McChristian

Paul F. McChristian, 81, of Gentry, Ark., died Thursday, Dec. 18, 2014, at the Jamestown Nursing and Rehab in Rogers, Ark.

He was born Nov. 10, 1933, in Siloam Springs, Ark., to Starlin McChristian and Estelle Garrett McChristian.

He married Wilda Lucille Ennis McChristian.

He was a heavy equipment operator for the Arkansas Highway Department. He was a member of New Life Tabernacle Church in Siloam Springs, where he enjoyed Bible Study and was a prayer warrior. He was a member of the Gentry Lion's Club, and he enjoyed fishing, camping, squirrel hunting, bowling and walking. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict.

He is survived by two daughters, Dianne McChristian of Owasso, Okla., and Cheryl and husband Nickie Smith of Decatur, Ark.; one brother, Virgil McChristian and wife Billie of Gentry; three sisters, his twin sister Pauline and husband John Henry Griffin of Siloam Springs, Connie Piper of Springfield, Mo., and Reba Harris of Jay, Okla.; and two grandsons.

He was also preceded in death by his wife; and one brother, Marvin McChristian.

Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m., Sunday, Dec. 21, 2014, at the New Life Tabernacle with Pastor Tim Estes officiating. Burial will be conducted with military honors at the Springtown Cemetery.

Elmer Lee Wilson, 79, of Siloam Springs, Ark., died at his home on Thursday, Dec. 18, 2014.

He was born Nov. 22, 1935, in Gentry, Ark. to George Wilson and Addie Mae Breeden Wilson.

He married Robin Ione Smith on Dec. 30, 1955, in Fordyce, Ark. He worked for Bynum Motor Company for many years and later worked for Allen Canning Company, where he was a warehouse manager before his retirement.

He served in the U.S. Air Force from 1954 to 1962 in the Military Police and was stationed in Guam. He was a member of the American Legion, a lifetime member of the N.R.A. and a member of the First Baptist Church of Siloam Springs. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and trapping in his younger years.

He is survived by his wife; one son, Mike Wilson of the home; two daughters, Georgenia and husband Butch Hagedorn of Highfill, Ark., and Sandy Wilson Dych of Fayetteville, Ark.; one brother, Leon and wife Roberta Wilson of Gentry; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

A gathering of friends and family will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Dec 23, 2014, at the Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral Home.

Barney Franklin Winfield

Barney Franklin Winfield, 73, of Kansas, Okla., died Dec. 18, 2014, at Northwest Medical Center in Bentonville, Ark.

He was born Jan. 10, 1941, in Kansas, Okla., to Franklin Winfield and Minnie Bolch Winfield.

He married Colleen Whorton on May 20, 1976, at Locust Grove, Okla. He was retired from Gates Rubber Company. He was a member of the Calvary Apostolic Church of Skiatook, Okla.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, Janet McPhail; and two brothers, Delbert and Paul Winfield.

He is survived by his wife; daughter Karen Wilson and husband Tim of Sand Springs, Okla.; stepsons John Carroll and wife Sarilda of Talala, Okla., and Michael Carroll of Kansas, Okla; stepdaughter Kristy Martens and husband Steve of Batesville, Ark.; brother Loren Winfield and wife Doris of Tulsa, Okla.; and nine grandchildren.

Funeral services were Saturday, Dec. 20, 2014, at Wasson Memorial Chapel in Siloam Springs, Ark., with the Rev. John Carroll officiating.

Burial was at Whorton Cemetery, in Oaks, Okla.
