Panther bowlers compete twice

The Siloam Springs bowling teams competed twice this past week.

On Tuesday, Jan. 17, the Panthers and Lady Panthers traveled to Springdale to compete against Springdale and Har-Ber. The Lady Panthers defeated them both with 1,917 points to Springdale's 1,835 and Har-Ber's 1,351. High games for the Lady Panthers were Baylie Mullikin 183, 157, Misti Kruger 180 and Tessa Brown 158. THe Panthers also won with 2,239 points, beating Springdale's 2181 and Har-Ber's 2044. High games were Garrett Howell 224, Jordan Barker 190, Nathaniel Brown 186, Patrick Dowdy 192, Ben Holland 171 and Karterr Barlow 171.

On Thursday, Jan. 19, Rogers and Heritage visited Siloam Springs for a three-way match at Community Bowl. The Lady Panthers finished second with 1,846 to Rogers' 1,867. Heritage scored 1740. High games for the ladies were Holly Green and Misti Kruger both with 152. The boys defeated both with a score of 2,628 to Rogers' 2,084 and Heritage's 2,298. High games for the boys were Ben Holland 257, Shane Hanan 235, Garrett Howell 223, Karterr Barlow 215, 193, Jordan Barker 190, and Nathaniel Brown with a pair of 181s.

This week the Panthers travel Tuesday to Fayetteville to take on Elkins and Lincoln. On Thursday they'll compete against Clarksville at Fast Lanes in Lowell.
