Girls track third at Gravette, boys fifth

GRAVETTE -- The Siloam Springs girls track team scored 73.5 points and finished second overall at the Gravette Lion Relays held Thursday.

Bentonville West won the meet with 120 points, followed by Siloam Sprngs 73.5, Gravette 56, Decatur 49, Fayetteville 47, Providence Academy 42, West Fork 32, Greenland 32, Farmington 31, Pea Ridge 31, Springdale Har-Ber 22, Westville (Okla.) 21, Prairie Grove 21, Haas Hall 16, Shiloh Christian 16, Lincoln 3.5 and Elkins 3.

The Lady Panthers scored in 13 of the 17 events, and they scored 24 of their points in the relays.

The 4x800-meter relay team of Allika Pearson, Caroline Farine, Jasmine Guillen and Chloe McGooden finished first with a time of 11 minutes, 7.64 seconds and scored 10 points.

The team of Sidney Henry, Hadlee Hollenback, Chloe Price and Alexis Roach took second in the 4x100-meter relay at 53.80 seconds and scored eight points.

The team of McGooden, Farine, Hollenback and Price took third in the 4x400-meter relay at 4:39.10 and scored six points.

Guillen placed second in the 3,200-meter run at 13:18.12 and scored eight points, while Rachel Thompson was third at 13:34.68 and scored six.

Hollenback placed third in the 100 meter dash at 13.5 and scored six points, while Roach was sixth at 13.59 and scored three points and Henry 11th at 13.77.

Roach placed third in the triple jump at 32 feet, 7 inches and scored six points.

In the high jump, Hollenback tied for fifth place with a leap of 4-6 and scored 3.5 points, while Chloe Price was seventh at 4-6 and scored two points.

Roach placed sixth in the long jump at 13-11 and scored three points, while Chloe Price was 15th at 12-3 and Sidney Henry 19th at 11-3.

McGooden placed sixth in the 800-meter run at 2:43.46 and scored three points, while Pearson was ninth at 2:51.17.

Henry was sixth in the 200-meter dash at 28.54 for three more points, while Hollenback was 11th at 29.23, and Roach 13th at 29.44.

Pearson placed seventh in the 1,600-meter run and scored two points with a time of 6:04.48, while Jasmine Guillen was ninth at 6:17.50 and Rachel Thompson 10th at 6:21.73.

Price finished seventh in the 400-meter dash at 1:07.76 and scored two points, while Farine was ninth at 1:10.03.

Stephanie Suaste placed seventh in the shot put with a throw of 27-5.5 and scored two points, while Karla Garcia was 12th at 25-3.

Emily McClelland placed 11th in the 100-meter hurdles at 23.12.

Boys

Siloam Springs finished fifth overall in the boys meet. Bentonville West was first with 153 points, followed by Farmington 70, Springdale Har-Ber 63, Fayetteville 49.5, Siloam Springs 48, Gentry 44, Pea Ridge 43, Decatur 40.33, Shiloh Christian 39, Greenland 35, Gravette 26.83, Haas Hall 13, Providence Academy 12, Prairie Grove 10.33, Westville (Okla.) 8, Haas Hall Bentonville 3 and Lincoln 2.

The Panthers scored points in 12 of the 17 events, including a pair of third place finishes.

The Panthers' 4x800-meter relay team of Charlie Jones, David Williams, Dillon Ferguson and Chandler Stewart placed third at 9:28.65 and scored six points.

Blake Jackson was third in the pole vault at 12 feet and scored six points.

Primo Agbehi took fourth in the triple jump at 39-9.5 and scored five points, while J.D. Horn was eighth at 38-5 and scored one point and Charlie Jones 17th at 36-7.5.

The 4x100-meter relay team of Iglesias, Horn, Agbehi and Kaiden Thrailkill placed fourth at 46.61 seconds and scored five points.

Chandler Stewart placed fourth in the 800-meter run at 2:11.77 and scored five points, while Ferguson was 21st at 2:28.79.

Thrailkill placed fifth in the 200-meter dash at 24.65, while Horn was 14th at 25.33 and Iglesias 15th at 25.36.

Agbehi placed fifth in the 100-meter dash at 11.46 and scored four points, while Thrailkill placed sixth at 11.55 and scored three points and Steven Iglesias 16th at 12.02.

Ryke Beever placed sixth in the 110-meter hurdles at 17.07 and scored three points, while Tristen Cunningham was 21st at 21.61 and Ian Williams 25th at 25.38.

Ryke Beever placed sixth in the 300-meter hurdles at 46.23 and scored three points, while Angel Noyela placed 20th at 54.43 and Ian Williams 24th at 1:00.28.

Primo Agbehi finished eighth in the long jump at 17-5 and scored one point, while Kaiden Thrailkill was 12th at 16-9 and Steven Iglesias 22nd at 14-3.

David Williams was eighth in the 3,200-meter run at 11:56.05 and scored one point.

The Panthers' 4x400-meter relay team of Agbehi, Jones, Beever and Stewart placed eighth at 3:56.01 and scored one point.

Fermin Velis placed 13th in the shot put at 36-1.5, while Kameron Greenlee was 18th at 35-2.

Luke Reicheniker placed 15th in the discus at 97-11.

David Williams placed 14th in the 1,600-meter run at 5:37.34.

Lee Thompson placed 24th in the 400-meter dash at 1:02.26, while Spenser Pippin placed 27th at 1:04.03 and Seth Hufford 30th at 1:04.45.
