Postal customers can put nonperishable food items (no glass please) in their mailbox or drop them off at the post office. Cards and bags for collecting the items will be distributed in the mail on Nov. 7 and 8. All food collected will go toward local food banks such as Genesis House, Hunger and Thirst Ministry and Victory Worship Center. For more information, call the post office at 479-524-3431.
