Wesley George Crain

Wesley George Crain, 95, of Tulsa, Okla., died March 30, 2019, at his home.

He was born Aug. 26, 1923, in Colcord, Okla., to William Crain and Lydia Storts Crain. He married Wanda Burchett and she preceded him in death. He married Dorothy Strausburg on March 5, 1976. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II.

He was preceded in death by his, wives Wanda and Dorothy; a son, Terry; a brother, Homer; and a great-grandson.

He is survived by two daughters, Christi McKinney and husband Darrell of Tulsa, Okla., and Linda Mason of Sapulpa, Okla.; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; a brother, Kenneth Crain and wife Geneva of Owasso, Okla.; a sister, Marie Billups of Colcord, Okla.; and stepchildren Zoelee Donnell, Juanita Eddy, Connie Bixler, Anna Parrish, Robert Thompson, Ginny Alyias, Debbie Higgs and John Thompson.

Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 3, 2019, at Allen Cemetery in West Siloam Springs, Okla.

Ethelle 'Edie' Dalson

Ethelle "Edie" Dalson, 83, of Siloam Springs, Ark., died March 30, 2019, at Siloam Springs Regional Hospital.

She was born Nov. 3, 1935, in Homer City, Ind., to William B. Cochran and Hazel Opdyke Cochran. She married William Dalson June 5, 1959, and they came to this area three years ago.

She was preceded in death by three brothers.

She is survived by her her husband, of the home; two daughters, Gaye Lawson and husband Mike of Maysville, Ark., and Bonny Gilmore and husband Brian of Warren, Ohio; and two grandchildren.

A private family service will be held at a later date.

Vanessa Shae Guthrie, 19, of Coweta, Okla., died March 27, 2019, at Coweta.

She was born March 15, 2000, in Tahlequah, Okla., to George Vindle Guthrie and Amanda Turknett (Pike). She graduated from Keys High School in Park Hill, Okla., and was a Certified Nursing Assistant. She was a member of Barber Baptist Church.

She is survived by her mother, Amanda Turknett and husband Jason of Coweta; her father, Vindle Guthrie and wife Wendy of Welling, Okla.; brothers and sisters, Bryce Turknett and Audrey Turknett both of Coweta, and Jasmine Guthrie, Jade Guthrie, Tylan Tinsley and Hunter Tinsley all of Welling; grandparents, Rick and Diana Pike of Colcord, Okla., Sandra and Hollis Gifford of Kansas, Okla., Donna Turknett of Westville, Okla., Joan and Jesse Allen of Colcord, Jim and Cindy Guthrie of Westville, and Gary Scott of Welling; and great-grandparents, Vindle and Shirley Guthrie of Westville.

Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, April 3, 2019, at Wasson Funeral Home in Siloam Springs, Ark.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Thursday, April 4, 2019, at Wasson Memorial Chapel in Siloam Springs. Burial will follow at Westville Cemetery in Westville. Memorial contributions may be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, 26 Broadway, 14th Floor, New York, NY 10004 or jdrf.org.

Harold Richard Walker

Harold Richard Walker, 88, of Siloam Springs, Ark., died March 29, 2019, at his home.

He was born Jan. 14, 1931, in Siloam Springs to Dell Walker and Anna Moore Walker. He married Viola Rankin on Oct. 1, 1951. He owned ITI and Walker Transmission of Siloam Springs. He was a member of First Baptist Church Siloam Springs and the Bass Masters Club. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.

He was preceded in death by his wife; his daughter, Patty; and grandson, Brent.

He is survived by two daughters, Brenda Walker Bates of Siloam Springs, and Joyce Walker Robertson and husband Gary of Springdale, Ark.; three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; a brother, Dale Walker of Siloam Springs; and three sisters, Helen Potter of Michigan, Linda Dorsey of Siloam Springs, and Wilma Watkins of Gentry, Ark.

Funeral services were April 1, 2019, at First Baptist Church in Siloam Springs. Burial was at Weddington Cemetery in Wedington, Ark.
